I. Main Street Usa!

It's twilight, edging to evening, and yet the streets are still alive with citizens and Apprentices (that means you!) alike. Take the time to admire the lights, pop in and out of the cafes or just relax in the garden.

Weapon shops and magic shops are open late into the evening this time of year, so feel free to enjoy yourself before you equip yourself for the life head.


II. Apprentice Training 101- Evening Class

Same commons behind the fire house, same weapons and wands available for practicing your skills-- though this time under the cozy street lights and the bright blues and tired purples of a fading summer twilight. Strike at the training dummy or try to catch fireflies with whispers, its all up to you.


III. Things that Go Bump

Are bumping. And they mean business. A few level 1 corroded monsters are scurrying around Main Street causing havoc and it's up to you to stop them. The question is, is it early in the evening or do you dare to face the creatures at the night's darkest hour?


IV. It's time to Sparkle!

Everyone has a spark of imagination. That is, in fact, why you're here! It's time to shine with your own scenario! Just try to keep from causing too much trouble.

That sounded fun! Have a wide smile full of jagged sharp teeth.

"Dat iz a greet idea! Ve do dat! C'mon!" he charged back towards the corruption. He had no clue what this kid meant by Heartless or Unversed. Didn't care. All he cared about, at the moment, was "VE HUNT!"

...Huh? Wait, why....?

[Why wasn't his Keyblade appearing? Ven blinks wide blue eyes in confusion, concern? Maybe even fear. He's never not been able to summon it since he got his own Keyblade, after all. Something was wrong. Even in the other worlds he had still been able to summon it to him.]

My Keyblade? My weapon, I don't have it to be able to fight.

"Ho! Iz dat all?" He grinned again and unstrapped the sword he had picked up in town, scabbard and all, and tossed it to him. "Hyu may need vepons vut hy gotz clawz und teeth!"

Hm? Oh...thanks?

[Ven blinks, taking the offered sword gingerly in his hands. He tests the weight, keeping it in the scabbard for the time being until he might need it. He's honestly more used to the Keyblade and that weight and shape, but for now this would have to do. Until he figures out what was going on in his not being able to summon his Keyblade at least.]

"Hyu iz goot den?"

I've not used a sword before, but. It's more than just using my hands. I'm sure I'll figure it.

[He just wants to be able to help somehow, if there are monsters around that might hurt people that can't fight back like he can. Which is why Ven gives a nod, gesturing for the other to lead the way.]

"Hokay den! VE HUNT!" He charged on in, claws raised, growling loudly. Someone was just charging on into the twisted wilds...

[windslept]

O-okay, but wait up!

[Ven follows, almost tripping in his haste to keep up even as he ensures the sword and scabbard were secure, so he could run with it and bring the weapon out when he needs it. He doesn't want to accidentally hurt himself or anyone else.]

"No! Hyu keeps hup!" he called back as he lunged at the first monster. WHEEEEEEEE!

[windslept]

I won't be able to if you keep this up!

[The other was fast. Or/and just that Ven wasn't quite as prepared to just go dashing off like that, the other having a head start, as it were. Still, he draws his sword when they get closer and strikes with it at the monster nearest him, aiming for their chest or stomach area.]

Well, the kid would keep up or he wouldn't. Maxim was feeling oddly weak, but that just made him angrier. And he had little problem tearing the smaller monsters limb from limb at least. But there were enough of them at least that he didn't get further in than Ven could follow.

[Ven keeps up once he gets closer and the monsters slow Maxim down more at least. He helps as best he can in using the sword. It is no Keyblade, but it is the same basic idea in that you stick them with the pointy end at least. That much seems easy enough. Ven still uses it the same way, holding it backhanded out of habit as he slashes the monsters.

He dodges barely in time, earning a cut at his cheek from one of them before he strikes it in retaliation, clumsily wiping at the blood at his face.]

"Hyu leaffs de blood dere. Makes hyu look dashink." He was having a grand old time, kibitzing even as he fought.

Hm? Dashing?

[Ven wasn't even really one to consider his appearance all that much. But he's pretty sure most would not say that the look of having blood on one's face was attractive? Still, it wasn't like it was a priority right now, given they were still fighting. As long as the blood didn't get in his eyes.]

"Ho yez, is a beg heet vit da ladiez."

I don't really care about that.

[It was more that it just wasn't the nicest feeling? At least to Ven. It wasn't like he had to deal with blood with taking care of the Unversed back home. Ven just doesn't want it getting in his face in impeding him from helping. He isn't really one that really thought much if at all about romance but that was probably because it was just him, Terra and Aqua at home with Eraqus. Sure, he made friends on his travels, but he still hadn't really thought on relationships like that to care what may or may not be a hit with the ladies, as he put it.]

Maxim was still fighting as he chatted, having a grand old time. "Ho, iz a beeg hit vit de men too."

Not quite what he meant, Maxim.

[windslept]

I still don't really care. I haven't really had time to think about relationships.

[Or met anyone. Just...friends. And Ven was fine with that, so far. It didn't have to be anything more. He doesn't necessarily expect anything more here either. Ven was content enough to make friends and is just hoping to find Terra and/or Aqua around somewhere. He's not really thinking about anything more. Or how he might deal with it if it were to happen or if he were to find someone.]

"Vy noit? Liffz too short, hyu only getz a few hundred yearz to liv. Hyu need to tink about dese tinks."

A few hundred? I don't think so...but I was just focusing on making friends, besides Terra and Aqua, when I traveled back home.

[And that was his intention here too. Friends. He wasn't going into anything assuming something more. And Ven figures that is probably best? If they get along well as friends and want to try more, then that works better? Right?]

He casually tipped a limb off one of their foes. "Terra and Aqua are hyu brodders?"

[windslept]

Not literally, not biologically. But I guess it kind of feels like we're family after living together for so long now. With them and Master Eraqus. They're my best friends!

[So of course he is trying to keep an eye out for them here too. If he was here, they might be. There's a chance, at least. So Ven wants to at least try. Even if he has to fight to do it, in taking care of these monsters in the process.]

He nodded. "Dat iz a goot vay uv tinkink aboot it, keed!"

I figure. I mean, I don't remember much from before I came to live with them. And we're all pretty close, so. We're not biologically related, but we're basically like a family.

[Wanting to help. Wanting to protect and look out for each other. Ven recognizes that much with Aqua trying to keep him out of it all with telling him to go home. But he wanted to help too, wanting answers about Vanitas, to make sure Terra was alright. To make friends.....]

What about you? You have family here?

"Hy haff brodders, vut dey are not here. Dey iz vit Miz Agatha und vill make vit de proteckink her until hy getz back. Hy iz chust arrivink here a leddle bit ago."
