Step 2: Go to others top level and express how your character ICly feels about theirs.
Additionally, if you want CR to go in a particular direction, you add that too.

Then this is the meme for you!

Simply pop up a thread for your character and others can respond with the gift(s) they will ic-ly give them. These gifts can be threaded out or handwaved or a combination thereof!
