"You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality."

I. Exploring Main Street! Take a trip through a little town taken straight from 1890's America. Visit the shops, dine at the restaurants- but don't forget you are here on a mission. As an Apprentice, you will need to gather some supplies. A weapon, or tool for producing magic.

But we understand if that corn dog cart on Market Street is your first stop.

II. Apprentice Class 101! Practice your spell casting and weaponship on the open commons behind the Firehouse. Sparring, casting or just general confusion abound here. Try not to hit anything or...anyone, the paint on the infirmary is still drying.

III. Look out! A level 2 corroded monster has managed to get onto Main Street! Protect the citizens and defeat the cur, and please watch the damage, the paint is still wet!

IV. One Little Spark! Go ahead, show us the strength of your imagination and come up with your own scenarios. Just, stay out of the Corroded Lands...if possible.

"Oh! Well, you're American. That explains so much." He says it matter of fact and quite pleasantly. He offers his arm.

"If you would, my dear, we can blow this hatstand and get something hot. to. trot." He knows his American idioms.

She laughs a little at the failed idioms, because they remind her a little of Adam, and takes his arm with a smile. "I hope you won't hold my country against me, we're not all egocentric yuppies. I mean, my dad and stepmom, absolutely, but I won't be anything like them if I have anything to say about it. ... My name's Lydia."

"Well, no one is without fault. Save for one." Probably. Isn't she? And merrily skipping over that existential crises before it happens.

"You may call me Mr. Fell." Because that works as well as any. "But no, I shan't hold you country against you, if you don't mind me showing you a bit of civilization. And, if you'll forgive me, you seem a bit young for all this nonsense."

"I don't mind it at all, Mr. Fell," she says, suddenly fighting off a whimsical urge to curtsey. Maybe it's the dress she'd found, all tulle and lace, making her look like a princess fit for Edgar Allan Poe. Maybe it's the Kingdoms. Maybe it's the prospect of an actual tea party - who knows?

"And I'm almost sixteen, that's old enough to drive at home. Besides. If everything here is supposed to run on imagination, they'll need young people, won't they? It only makes sense."

"Just because you get older doesn't mean you lose your imagination. I feel it only broadens it. Life experiences make things richer, varied." Which is not to say that the imagination of the young lacks value, but it's certainly not exclusive to them.

"If you get hurt I'm sure your parents will worry about you."

"You're a pretty rare kind of adult, then," she remarks, wryly amused. "As for my getting hurt, well ... my dad would worry, but he worries about everything. I think Delia wouldn't even bat an eye. Or if she did she'd tell me not to bleed on her drop cloth."
