I. Exploring Main Street! Take a trip through a little town taken straight from 1890's America. Visit the shops, dine at the restaurants- but don't forget you are here on a mission. As an Apprentice, you will need to gather some supplies. A weapon, or tool for producing magic.

But we understand if that corn dog cart on Market Street is your first stop.

II. Apprentice Class 101! Practice your spell casting and weaponship on the open commons behind the Firehouse. Sparring, casting or just general confusion abound here. Try not to hit anything or...anyone, the paint on the infirmary is still drying.

III. Look out! A level 2 corroded monster has managed to get onto Main Street! Protect the citizens and defeat the cur, and please watch the damage, the paint is still wet!

IV. One Little Spark! Go ahead, show us the strength of your imagination and come up with your own scenarios. Just, stay out of the Corroded Lands...if possible.

He might not have been as impressed with it as she was but it hardly mattered. Canon was still ( technically ) learning how to properly use her immense weapon and hitting the target was a step in the right direction! The mass destruction that happened as a result of firing said weapon was a happy accident — although it was to be expected as a given. It wasn't exactly a nerf soft ball being shot from its contents.

"Maybe! But it was hit and therefore, I did as I wanted!" Chipper to a fault, Canon smiled to the newcomer and touched the tips of her fingers together, steepled before herself. "Oho? There is always somewhere new to practice! Where do you have in mind, friend?"

Stranger, more like.

She might have thought it was a step in the right direction, but Sulfus was here to ensure that it would ultimately lead to the wrong direction. He wasn't the top in his class for nothing, and he didn't think it would take much coercion to have her use that weapon for ill purpose. Plus, there didn't seem to be an Angel in the area to even oppose him. Win-win.

"Sure, I guess it did... but I'd think you wouldn't be content with just that." Continuing to not sound overly impressed to inspire doubt in her mind. It looked as if he didn't really have to however since she was already asking him for suggestions, and calling him friend. Sulfus smiled in return.

"You see there's a building they're planning on demolishing and you could save them a lot of time and effort by bringing it down with your cannon".

Excuse you, there is one hundred percent an angel present: he was looking at her! He wasn't wrong though: gullibility was something Canon was known for due to her young age and her excitement to prove herself as a noble lady in the cannoneering profession.

"Hm?" She was pretty contented. It was the target she was trying to hit and had nailed it. What wasn't to be happy about? Sure, it might be nice to have a bigger target but given that the wall had crumbled, too, it was sort of a win/win, right? The lack in enthusiasm for her amazing target skills was a little troublesome but maybe he just didn't understand the practice needed for a weapon like this one...

... that peaked her interest! She perked up and smiled. "Is that so? I imagine that I could certainly handle a job like that! Can you please direct me to it so I might ask if I can assist?"

Funny that angel sure looked like a regular human to this devil. Either way, it wouldn't stop him from trying to corrupt her even if she was one of the winged denizens of heaven. I mean he had gotten Raf to violent the V.E.T.O. on day one of the latest school term. Now that was an angel that was really clueless about how things worked on Earth.

It was a start, and that is all Sulfus would allow. He had much bigger ambitions for that destructive force. Sulfus was no weapons expert himself, but he didn't need to be.

"Sure thing.." There was just one problem with that whole asking thing. He started to lead her down the street towards what looked to be a castle. It was rather small for a castle, but a castle in shape none the less. "This thing has been here for years, so don't let the new paint job fool you... it's a safety hazard on the inside." If the other devils were he he could have used one of them to pose as one of the staff. "I wouldn't even bother asking for permission, they'll just be glad the job was finished."

Rude! She might not be a proper angel but she certainly looked like one. At least in her opinion anyway. Not an actual angel, no, but it would be fairly difficult to corrupt the pint-size girl given her endless optimism and her penchant for giggling maniacally as means for expressing herself. He could certainly try though!

Not when it came to something like this and its raw power.

But a s k i n g was the right thing to do, you know? She raised her brows at the idea of just assuming she'd be helping and that felt somewhat incorrect. Canon thought about it as she followed this unknown male to the castle he pointed out as needing demolishing. From the outside, it looked fairly pretty! There was a new coat of paint and everything! Obliviousness was her thing, usually, but even Canon had to wonder why a condemned building would receive a new paint job just to be brought down. She scrunched her nose. "I wonder, do you think you could locate the persons working on this project? It just seems quite droll, you see. Why paint a building freshly new to simply obliterate it?"
