OOC Mod Plot Post | Dreamfinder Narrative | Merlin's Call for Volunteers

With The Dreamfinder out of Main Street, the Mirror Portal will begin to malfunction. It's Dreamfinder's spark that keeps it going after all.

This is the OOC post for the upcoming logs! If you wish to opt out, your character will remain on Main Street and deal with either fighting a few corrosion monsters that have snuck in (from the Dark Jungle), manning the infirmary or remaining with in their dorms for the event. For the sake of the Cast Members, a summary of the event will go up so that (even if you did not participate) everyone knows what has occurred and what was learned.

For those who do wish to participate, your character will be placed into one of three groups that will explore the Dark Jungles searching for The Dreamfinder. Each group will find one game important object/person: The Dreamfinder, Figment or The Temple of the Forbidden Eye which houses the currently dormant Kingdom Spirit for Tiki Oasis.

Each group will face Corroded monsters and spirits, giving you all a change to practice how to write out your spells and drawbacks with in an actual game event. Think of this as a pre-season game for the Missions and future Mod Plots.

Spark Rewards
3 Sparks: Apprentices that complete the plot
2 Sparks: Apprentices who actively participate in the opt out option

Apprentices who choose to stay in their room will get no sparks at all :(

How will the outcomes of fights be decided? Are we NPCing the Corroded in our own threads or will there be some sort of RNG component? I've seen it done both ways.

A combination of both. We will RNG a general outcome and the players are free to reach that outcome in anyway they wish.

You are also allowed to NPC the corroded creatures. If the group wishes to do that, we will let you know how many Corroded Creatures/Spirits you will face.
