smk_oocHello, everyone. This is Mari, the resident Harry Potter player, and I am introducing this precious bean from the beloved 1997 Don Bluth animated film loosely based on real life Russian history, because why not? And I am a Romanov nerd too.
It is Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaevna Romanova of Russia, or just Anya for short. Anya is very loosely based on the real life youngest daughter of Tsar Nicholas II of Russia, and unlike her RL self, she manages to survive the destruction of her imperial family with a little help of a kitchen boy turned conman, gets amnesia for ten years, and goes on a search for her family and her true identity with the same man, a ex noble, and a lovable dog while trying to avoid being hunted by evil!Rasputin.
Anya is coming fresh from near the end of her film, so Rasputin’s now dead (yay!) but Dmitri is still unconscious and hasn’t woken up from his ‘nap time’ (sad face). And since we all know that Disney now owns the rights to most 20th Century Fox films, Anya will be the sole Fox Disney Princess among the Princess Apprentices, woot woot!
