I. Main Street Usa!

It's twilight, edging to evening, and yet the streets are still alive with citizens and Apprentices (that means you!) alike. Take the time to admire the lights, pop in and out of the cafes or just relax in the garden.

Weapon shops and magic shops are open late into the evening this time of year, so feel free to enjoy yourself before you equip yourself for the life head.


II. Apprentice Training 101- Evening Class

Same commons behind the fire house, same weapons and wands available for practicing your skills-- though this time under the cozy street lights and the bright blues and tired purples of a fading summer twilight. Strike at the training dummy or try to catch fireflies with whispers, its all up to you.


III. Things that Go Bump

Are bumping. And they mean business. A few level 1 corroded monsters are scurrying around Main Street causing havoc and it's up to you to stop them. The question is, is it early in the evening or do you dare to face the creatures at the night's darkest hour?


IV. It's time to Sparkle!

Everyone has a spark of imagination. That is, in fact, why you're here! It's time to shine with your own scenario! Just try to keep from causing too much trouble.

"Kay. Is the bad place, basically torture Hell? Because then yeah, definitely sucks. Even if I got to skip most of it, I bored the jailers too much," nod nod.

"Absolutely," a smirk to awesome friendships. But then Ace kind of considers all of his friendships awesome. He's a little idiotic like Jason like that. But pirate instead of Floridian.

"Yeah. I got stuck there with three other humans. The guy who made it made us think it was The Good Place so he could psychologically torture us by making us make each other miserable. It mostly worked 'til I figured it out and fucked up his plans."

She takes another sip from her bottle and tilts her head at him, "How the hell'd you skip most of hell? Got any pointers for someone trying to get out of her own version of it?"

"Niiiiice," Ace grinned about her fucking up plans and offered another high-five.

"I was too boring," he shrugged, definitely not bragging. "In my world's version, they baptize you in boiling water, the more you scream, the weaker the level they put you in. I didn't scream. They still starved and tortured me, but for the most part left me alone, even let my Gramps come visit. Because he has security clearance. Long story."

She returned that high-five. Oh the stories they could share.

That tale made her cringe, though. She shuddered, "Sounds like what I've heard about the rest of The Bad Place. Michael tried something new with us, everyone else in The Bad Place does the boiling and all that other shit. Noooo thank you." She lifted her bottle up in a toast, "To escaping that bullshit... kind of. Eh fuck that, it's a lame toast. Let's just get wasted."

Ace laughed and clinked his bottle to hers. "To getting wasted and having fun after death!"

She laughed, "Hey I like that! To getting wasted and having fun after death." She took a swig and beamed at him, "We're gonna need more booze than this. Where can we go make some really terrible decisions?"

"Everywhere."

God's honest truth there. "We could sneak around back a few places and try to dig some up, or throw a party, but tell everyone price of admission is they have to bring booze."

She cackles with laughter, "I'm gonna say yes to all of that. I wanna get wrecked! I don't have to worry about points or any of that shit so I'm gonna let loose!"

Ace laughs right back. "You would have been right at home with my family. They'd have loved you. Okay! Let's do all of it!"

"Hey thanks! I'd say the same but my folks didn't love anyone but themselves." She shrugs, smirking. "So fuck 'em. Or don't. They're dead so what do they care." Her smirk broadens into a grin, "Where do we start?"

"Wow, that's rough. That bad?" Not that there was any love lost between Ace's blood father and him, but at least he had his sixteen-hundred adopted family of brothers and Captain. And two baby brothers, and one lunatic Grandfather of sorts.

"Hotel!! Let's see if we can raid their kitchens and pantry!"

"Oh yeah. I got myself emancipated when I was a teenager. They never did shit for me, anyway."

But she's done talking about her deadbeat folks. Her face lights up with a grin and she nods. "There's a hotel? Score! There's always good shit at those!"

"Emancipated? That's like running away, right? But where they don't look for you?"

Sabo could have used that.

"Yup! Party time!!"

"Kinda? Like, legal running away. So I could get my own apartment and shit without having either of those dirtbags signing for anything."

She shrugs, clearly not caring one bit about the DNA donors who called themselves her parents.

"I'm always down for a party." Following, she looks him over, "I gotta ask. What's with the shirtless thing? Not that I'm complaining, but it's, uh, really a statement."
