smk_oocHeya, Chicklet here! I play Mal in game and briefly had Aahz and Maxim, neither of whom really fit. Hopefully these two idiots will!
Hikari Hanazono is... well.... she's a freaking ball of sunshine. She has a smile for everyone and a knack for turning foes into friends by being a good friend. She constantly wants to get better and better to improve herself and one day beat her rival Takishima! But for as driven as she is, winning isn't all that matters. How you win counts for a lot. After all, a competition should be fun for everyone and winning without it being by your own merit is pointless. To that end she doesn't cheat, and will always try to encourage cheaters to do their best with their own skills, and she gets depressed when someone lets her win. But she will happily help out wherever she can and try to make friends with everyone she meets.
A few... notes... though. One is that when it comes to how people see her... Hikari is dense. She might almost never get a score below a 99 on an exam in a top school, but she can't see how people see her, at all. So yeah, thick headed girl alert.
Another is that she has a limited capacity for certain concepts and events. And when she overloads, she passes out and when she comes to, she forgets whatever made her pass out. So you know, confessions of love, getting drunk (a single small bottle accidentally in with the bottled waters and juices after a hot springs bath), being sick, and based on the TDM.... magic. So... she is going to be passing out. A lot. At first. In time she will adjust. Until then I plan to have a lot of fun with her passing out!
She... often forgets her own strength. She's human, and all her strength is earned through insane amounts of hard work, so she gets to keep it... but in the series we've seen her and her rival crack marble columns and break metal bars while sparring. So yeah.... She is also a major pro-wrestling fan and has been practicing moves since she could walk.
Cooking. Do not let her cook. Dear whatever beings you call upon, do not let her cook if you value your kitchen. There will be broken counters. There will be explosions. She thinks she can cook. She cannot.
That's about it for Hikari, other than the fact that she often pushes herself too hard and needs to be pulled back for her own good. But she can go a lot further before she gets to that point than most people think. So yeah. Have at!

Now... Elan.
Elan is an idiot. In D&D terms, Intelligence was his dump stat. He prays to a puppet that he keeps in his pocket, sees the world in terms of dramatic narrative first (though he's getting better about that) and is utterly convinced that he is in a web comic about a role playing game. So... you know. Fun.
A few quick notes. Yes, his eyes are different sizes. No he isn't just drawn that way, he actually has no nose. People having 5 fingers will confuse him. Also feet the same size will puzzle him. He isn't actually as insane as he seems, a lot of it is just that his canon is that... well... messed up and crazy. But he is also very very stupid. Friendly, well meaning, kind. But... stupid.
