That was a lot to take in. Beetlejuice was a little incredulous.
“A mirror thought I’d be helpful in saving a world?”
It wasn’t that he didn’t believe Lydia. Or that he doubted his own creativity, and of course he’d be an appealing choice for—anything.
But, that was a level of assumed selflessness that he wasn’t sure was warranted, or was appealing.
“Interesting,” he drawled. “But, uh, kinda hard to help anyone when my powers seem to be, ah, nonexistent.”
