Her eyes widened more as she listened, her eyeliner only exaggerating the effect. If this Beetlejuice was from a quantum universe, there was a chance he was different in good ways. She tried to keep the things she was learning at the front of her mind: that everyone was here because they had something that would help, that it was a new start for everyone, that it wouldn't do anyone any good to judge each other. But most of all, that they needed to share what they knew. So as they kept talking, she kept walking, trusting that he'd follow her to her favorite Catching Up spot where they could sit and have a snack once they got there. (He'd forsaken a perfectly good churro, after all.)
