"Well, you can learn magic. All of us can use magic here. Look!" Fenton took a step back, and held out his hand. "I wish I had an apple in my hand, right now!" There was a puff of air, and a red, shiny apple appeared in Fenton's hand. He felt a wave of exhaustion come over him from casting the spell, but he offered Gosalyn a tired smile. "See? Anyone can do this! We just... yawn... have to be trained, first. And different classes use different spells." He peered at the apple a little skeptically. "Sometimes these don't always work right... so the taste might be off. Hope not. Should have been simple enough."
She really was hung up on the no-TV thing, wasn't she? Well, Fenton could understand, to an extent. His mother would probably think this place was hell, with no TV. He holds the apple in both hands, fingers nervously drumming against it. Ahh, Gosalyn... if only you knew. Gizmoduck was here... and he was upset that his suit wasn't working, but more sad than anything else, about it. "Ahh... I'll be sure to pass on that memo, yes. If and when Darkwing... ...or Gizmoduck ever arrive." Fenton had been wondering if secret identies were even feasable, in this world that had so few ducks... but old habits were hard to break, and he still clung hard to keeping his secret identity a secret.
