More and more this was beginning to feel like a very elaborate invitation... the locked door, the music, some one or something wanted them to stay inside this house and explore. And really, it seemed the thing to do. It wasn't like they could leave and just sitting around in this dusty spider filled room was less than appealing.
"I think we should. Maybe we can find the owner of this mansion down there."
The floorboards creaked under her feet as she made her way to the open door and peeked in. A long dark hall led to a set of stairs at the far end. The pictures on the walls were eerie. Gaunt men with long faces, women who seemed to scowl as they passed by, and the eyes! The eyes of every single one of those paintings seemed to follow them as they moved down the hall.
"It's... it's nice?"
Skuld decided uncertainly as she decided to stay very close to Canon's side, for mutual protection and all.
