Petalwing had been flitting about the rooftops looking for other Preservers or Highthings, or even Digdigs, but all the small creature could find were walking ducks and Tallthings. Well, sometimes searching needed help! So Petalwing flew out in front of the next spotted Tallthing.
Who seemed to be talking, but there was no one the Tallthing was talking to. So clearly the Tallthing was talking to Petalwing.
"Petalwing answer! But Petalwing not know. The them other Tallthings?"
Petalwing was small, a little taller than his hand and genderless with leathery green skin, lovely butterfly wings and a small flower hat. Petalwing also had the single most annoying voice to ever be heard on any world. Which was bad enough now. Just wait until Petalwing started to sing...
