That did cheer her up. A lot. Sky-high, walking on rainbows, giddier than anything. Everything was right in the multiverse again, she could practically Wizard of Oz yellow brick road skip wherever they were headed.

She paused and glomped him again in the middle of the street and everything. Two hearts. The most reassuring sound she'd been missing for years. "You scared me...." she cried softly into his shirt again, refusing to let go or really walk backwards for his sake for a moment. "You scared me so much. Without her, you didn't regenerate, just drowned under the Thames, and there was other times, and I know... I know it's not real, and you don't remember them, because I made them not happen, but I was so scared. This corruption, it's like the Darkness, isn't it??? Did I find you in between Da's universe and now? What happened??? Can you tell me why you regenerated??? Are you alone??" Just... all the clinging.
