I. Main Street Usa!

It's twilight, edging to evening, and yet the streets are still alive with citizens and Apprentices (that means you!) alike. Take the time to admire the lights, pop in and out of the cafes or just relax in the garden.

Weapon shops and magic shops are open late into the evening this time of year, so feel free to enjoy yourself before you equip yourself for the life head.


II. Apprentice Training 101- Evening Class

Same commons behind the fire house, same weapons and wands available for practicing your skills-- though this time under the cozy street lights and the bright blues and tired purples of a fading summer twilight. Strike at the training dummy or try to catch fireflies with whispers, its all up to you.


III. Things that Go Bump

Are bumping. And they mean business. A few level 1 corroded monsters are scurrying around Main Street causing havoc and it's up to you to stop them. The question is, is it early in the evening or do you dare to face the creatures at the night's darkest hour?


IV. It's time to Sparkle!

Everyone has a spark of imagination. That is, in fact, why you're here! It's time to shine with your own scenario! Just try to keep from causing too much trouble.

A few hundred? I don't think so...but I was just focusing on making friends, besides Terra and Aqua, when I traveled back home.

[And that was his intention here too. Friends. He wasn't going into anything assuming something more. And Ven figures that is probably best? If they get along well as friends and want to try more, then that works better? Right?]

He casually tipped a limb off one of their foes. "Terra and Aqua are hyu brodders?"

Not literally, not biologically. But I guess it kind of feels like we're family after living together for so long now. With them and Master Eraqus. They're my best friends!

[So of course he is trying to keep an eye out for them here too. If he was here, they might be. There's a chance, at least. So Ven wants to at least try. Even if he has to fight to do it, in taking care of these monsters in the process.]

He nodded. "Dat iz a goot vay uv tinkink aboot it, keed!"

I figure. I mean, I don't remember much from before I came to live with them. And we're all pretty close, so. We're not biologically related, but we're basically like a family.

[Wanting to help. Wanting to protect and look out for each other. Ven recognizes that much with Aqua trying to keep him out of it all with telling him to go home. But he wanted to help too, wanting answers about Vanitas, to make sure Terra was alright. To make friends.....]

What about you? You have family here?

"Hy haff brodders, vut dey are not here. Dey iz vit Miz Agatha und vill make vit de proteckink her until hy getz back. Hy iz chust arrivink here a leddle bit ago."

That's good then! That you're not alone if...Hy? is here too.

[He says, still bringing up the rear behind the other to keep an eye out and ensure the monsters were dealt with. He's still unsure quite what to make of this place, especially with these not being Unversed or Heartless, and that he can't use his Keyblade.]

"Hy iz not alone iv hy iz here? Iz dat zuppozed to be deep or zumtink?"

There's this star shaped fruit, on this other world. If people share it, they stay together no matter what. We don't have it back home at the Land of Departure but...we improvised. Made our own. Or, Aqua did. I wasn't sure if you meant your friends were here or you wanted them to be. Or you feel like they are anyway.

[Because admittedly sometimes Ven might have a little trouble understanding. But even so. He's trying and doing his best to help and keep up conversation at least.]

He's used to people not understanding him. And he'd never admit to anyone he didn't serve that it was intentional. "Ho. No. Dey are beck home. Hy iz de only goot lookink vun here."a

[Ven will just roll with it. Honestly, after the high pitched mice and such and everyone else he encountered back home on some of the worlds, this isn't so bad in figuring some semblance of understanding the other.]

I still want to try find the others if I can. If Terra and Aqua are here somewhere too.

"Who ken say. If dey are here den hyu vill vindz dem, yez?"

I hope so. Back home we kind of just missed each other a lot, when traveling. But I have to at least check. If they are or were here too.

[If they were around, Ven had to find them. Somewhere here. Or they would find him, either way. He has to believe that. That Aqua's Wayfinders would help guide them together eventually. Wherever that happened, whenever it did with everything back home and all.]

"Hyu hez no vay uv communicatink vit dem? Dat iz foolish, yez?"

No. At least, I'm not sure of a way to get in touch with them. Not without leaving a note or something, at least.

[Ideally, yes, they would have figured communication before they left the Land of Departure. But a lot was going on, even then in the moment. So it wasn't something they considered at the time. Unfortunately. And it isn't something he knows about here either? Yet at least.]

"Hyu ken tell pepple here vat dey look like und azk dem to keep dem here iv dey arrive."

I figured something like that. Yeah. I usually just asked around back home when traveling trying to find them and it sometimes worked out with me catching them.

[Before they would end up heading for the next world. More or less, anyway. So it was what Ven initially had in mind in trying to find them. Asking around. This place, if he was here, then there had to be at least a chance Aqua and Terra might be. Somewhere.]

Sort of. Assuming anyone around here has seen them, either of them, both of them. Otherwise I'm not sure how to find them. Probably just....keep looking I guess.

[Move on, ask someone else. Look somewhere else. Ven would manage. He has so far, at least. So he figures.]

I just meant, keeping an eye out and asking around. I just got here, so I'm not sure if they are around or not, but. I'm going to need to get to know my way around here anyway, so.

[May as well make the most of that time. At least Ven figures. Exploring and getting to know the landmarks and area while he asks around about his friends.]

[Why would the other even think or say that? Then again, he might have some odd ideas about what was possible back home. Evidently, Ven does given everything he went through, even. So he probably can't really talk.]

You mean like literature? Not....quite. It means something you said as being actually true, I guess? That it actually happened. So I didn't mean I actually wanted to take my eye out. I just meant I would keep looking for my friends. If that makes sense?

[He's not sure if he explained it well or not. Or at least, enough that the other might understand. He hopes he did okay though.]
