I. Main Street Usa!

It's twilight, edging to evening, and yet the streets are still alive with citizens and Apprentices (that means you!) alike. Take the time to admire the lights, pop in and out of the cafes or just relax in the garden.

Weapon shops and magic shops are open late into the evening this time of year, so feel free to enjoy yourself before you equip yourself for the life head.


II. Apprentice Training 101- Evening Class

Same commons behind the fire house, same weapons and wands available for practicing your skills-- though this time under the cozy street lights and the bright blues and tired purples of a fading summer twilight. Strike at the training dummy or try to catch fireflies with whispers, its all up to you.


III. Things that Go Bump

Are bumping. And they mean business. A few level 1 corroded monsters are scurrying around Main Street causing havoc and it's up to you to stop them. The question is, is it early in the evening or do you dare to face the creatures at the night's darkest hour?


IV. It's time to Sparkle!

Everyone has a spark of imagination. That is, in fact, why you're here! It's time to shine with your own scenario! Just try to keep from causing too much trouble.

As she and the owl made her way toward the center of the disturbance, Rosabella would spot a tall, thin, white-haired man in a gray suit, his hands held up before him in the air. A shimmering shield dotted with bits of flame and ember surrounded him as he shielded some Kingdom residents so that they could escape.

The problem was, it didn't look like it was going to hold for much longer. Maybe a little help? A distraction, an extra pair of hands ... anything she could muster ...

She gasped as she came across the scene, the owl landing on her shoulder. Hurrying over to the nearest person, she said, "This way...! Follow the owl, he'll lead you to the safest route!"

With a hoot, the owl took off again, and she directed more people to follow after it while making her way towards the man providing the shield.

Once she got to him, she placed a hand on his arm, hoping that her healing abilities worked for healing energy too.

Michael faltered for a moment, thinking it was another Corrupted, since his usual training group had split up to cover the most ground. At the sight of a new face, he nodded, then redoubled his effort. It was taking all of his concentration to keep the shield up, and he felt the rush that he was coming to recognize as Royal energy coming from her touch. It felt like all the times Jason had placed his hand on his chest when he'd been depressed, reminding him of the wells of strength he still held in reserve, and as he drew on them, the shield grew thicker.

"Thanks," he said between breaths, breaking focus just long enough to glance at her and smile.

"Think you can heal it? It's supposed to be one way to stop them. Purify it, somehow ..."

With a small smile of her own, she then glanced toward the Corrupted. She was glad to hear that was something that was possible, but that presented another problem.

“I can try,” she replied, though sounded a bit less sure. “But I need to get close enough to it.”

"Is everyone clear yet? I don't dare look away for too long.... if the others are safe, I can switch over to trying to protect you while you go for it. I've never just shielded one person before, but ... I can try! Maybe like sharing an umbrella."

Glancing back, she saw the last of the crowd following the owl still flying high for them to see.

“Yeah, everyone’s cleared! I’m ready when you are.”

"Okay. Give me just a second."

He closed his eyes, remembering what Rose had taught him: that everything seemed to work better for him when he was protecting people. He shifts his focus from the residents to the new girl, fixing the image of her in his mind, her striped hair and thick glasses. Somehow, the fact that they were both bespectacled was what Sparked the most, and suddenly both of their pairs of glasses glowed from the frames, projecting shields out in front of them, shimmering like soap bubbles.

"Well, that's new! I'll take it."

She took in a breath as her glasses began to glow, watching in fascination as the shield came up.

"Wow!" she said, impressed and curious at the same time. But she didn't let herself linger on it, knowing they had a job to do. "Okay, here I go."

Stepping away from him, she slowly approached one of the corroded monsters, trying to emit as much of her healing aura as she could in hopes of getting it to at least calm down enough.
