Character Meet and Greet~~ At Night

I. Main Street Usa!
It's twilight, edging to evening, and yet the streets are still alive with citizens and Apprentices (that means you!) alike. Take the time to admire the lights, pop in and out of the cafes or just relax in the garden.
Weapon shops and magic shops are open late into the evening this time of year, so feel free to enjoy yourself before you equip yourself for the life head.
II. Apprentice Training 101- Evening Class
Same commons behind the fire house, same weapons and wands available for practicing your skills-- though this time under the cozy street lights and the bright blues and tired purples of a fading summer twilight. Strike at the training dummy or try to catch fireflies with whispers, its all up to you.
III. Things that Go Bump
Are bumping. And they mean business. A few level 1 corroded monsters are scurrying around Main Street causing havoc and it's up to you to stop them. The question is, is it early in the evening or do you dare to face the creatures at the night's darkest hour?
IV. It's time to Sparkle!
Everyone has a spark of imagination. That is, in fact, why you're here! It's time to shine with your own scenario! Just try to keep from causing too much trouble.
I
"The Emporium has a bit of a selection but nothing really quality, I'm afraid." At least not to him. But for someone using language like that, perhaps it wouldn't bother her. "I could show you the way, if you like."

Wait... waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaait... Her eyes widen even more. Wings. Fancy clothes. Polite, well spoken guy. Her voice is suddenly breathy, "Is this... is this The Good Place? I mean, they told me it wasn't but... is it?"
A girl can hope, can't she?
no subject
"I'm afraid not. It's just... a different place." He's not entirely sure how to explain it.
no subject
"Yeah I shoulda guessed as much. That'd just be too easy." Once upon a time she'd have told him to fuck off and pranced off to find someone else to talk to. But Chidi had been an excellent teacher. She looks up, forcing a small smile, "I'm sorry. I just... I saw the wings and thought that maybe... " She shakes her head, waving a hand in front of her, "You know what? That doesn't matter. Let's just start over."
Taking a step closer, she extends a hand, "Hi. I'm Eleanor Shellstrop."
no subject
He smiles warmly and takes her hand, laying his other hand over hers too in a gesture, he hopes, of warmth and security. He does care, after all, even if it's rather difficult at times.
"My name is Aziraphale. But you may call me Mr. Fell, if you like. It is delightful to meet you, Miss Shellstrop." And he means it.
After a suitable moment he lets go and gestures.
"Shall we?"
no subject
Where the fuck did this guy even come from?
She fights down the urge to gag. Instead, she just tilts her head, "I dunno. Seeing as I was already sent to The Bad Place?" She shrugs,"I guess you can say I'm trying to upgrade."
Sorry, dude, she's already forgotten your name. It's way too long and stupid. "Eleanor's fine. Lead the way, Fella." She smiles brightly.
no subject
"At least, if I'm understanding things correctly, you will find yourself to be rather less dead than you were when you started." Which, good news or not, he's not entirely sure.
no subject
She frowns as a thought occurs to her, "Shit, I wonder if everyone else made it through that portal thingy okay. If I didn't make it, I hope they did, at least." She's muttering practically to herself but it's a glimpse into the newfound goodness she had within her.
Ugh. More important things to worry about. She shakes her head, looking up at the weird blonde guy. "Wait, you mean I'm alive now? How the hell does that work?"
no subject
Oh and the human is talking.
"Hm? What? Oh, I'm sure I don't know. It's not my area. Perhaps it's just a mystery. But isn't it a wonderful one?" After all, alive was certainly better than the alternative.
no subject
She looks curiously at him. He's far too cheerful, it makes her suspicious. Shit. No. That's not right. Ethics, Eleanor. Remember the lessons. Some people are just that nice and aren't out to screw you over. It's still disgusting but she can deal with that.
"Wonderful... Right... Yeah I'm still trying to get a handle on this place. It's, uh, pretty different." which is a nice way to say it's fucking batshit crazy pants.
no subject
"Oh, it's not too different. You should be used to this sort of thing. It's very er...Americana. Not a tea shop for miles." He laughs self-consciously at his own joke. "But you may feel somewhat differently than you had before as, in coming here I believe, you are imbued with certain abilities." Even if he's still a bit on shaky ground with those himself.
no subject
Oh yes. Powers. She cringed at that. "Yeeeeaaaahhhh I'm still not sure about all that. They told me I'm a fairy? That makes the least sense of anything else in this place." No, really. What the fuck?!
no subject
"I don't really think it's a species reclassification. More of a... I don't know... abilities classification. Something about temperament and kinds of magic and that sort of thing. I am sorted into the prince class and, well, am hardly that. I wouldn't presume to be one."
no subject
Her grimace further contorts and she rolls her eyes, "Yeah well I'm no fairy, either. I mean c'mon, fairies are all supposed to be nice and grant wishes and all that shit, right? Or something like that... That's so not me."
