With all the other tables spoken for the industrious woman with the ripped apart radio was about to have some company. The Doctor swept over to her in a swirl of over-sized coat and grabbed the back of an empty chair at her table.
"Is this seat taken?"
Naturally before she could answer he had placed himself in the chair and moved a few of those abandoned radio bits to set his sundae on the table.
"You're terribly popular. It's all the wait staff can talk about, the lady with the broken down radio and I must say it is a curious project. Was the dial was loose?"
This asked even though he could clearly see from the amount of pieces that had been removed from the device there was a good deal more to the tinkering than that.
