He frowned, more upset about the ocean than the humans and dee mons not eating live things. Not many mers did either. And one of them, when he asked, called him a bottom-dweller. Which he was. Or used to be. Maybe only bottom dwellers ate live things.
"I think that's because your guts are very tough and don't mind old dead food." He shook his head. "But if you find anyone who doesn't mind getting eaten, could you tell me?"
