The tendril whipped out of sight before it was seen. Hmm. She was pretty tasty. Very nutritious. If he ate her, he wouldn't have to eat again for almost four hours. It was very tempting. Adela might hear a faint sloshing as he moved to another position and then sneaked out a tendril to take another taste of he back of her neck.
