Sure enough the bird was still looming above them just waiting for an opportunity. Perhaps it was not able to find sustenance in the surrounding lands due to the corruption.
"I see what you mean." Agreeing with her, wasn't helping her with her situation. "Where was it you were headed Mrs. Brisby? If I might be permitted to accompany you, I could make sure you're able to arrive there safely."
