The laughter is good. It grounds him. He's always felt more secure when he can make people laugh: it means he's really there, that he can still change his surroundings, that he's got some twisted form of control.

Never mind the werewolves, and how once upon a time they scared the snot out of him, but he stayed fascinated by them. He can get back to that. There's something a little more important going down in this weird little backstory. "You ... you've done this whole 'other universe' thing before. Am I seriously hearing that right?
