She wants to kiss him desperately, but at the sound of her name, is so flooded with relief she just glomps him and holds on for dear life. What does she remember? Too much. All of him dying. Universes and timelines without him, dying. Failed attempts to save anyone, everyone, something, anything. The only promise was that each failed attempt was one step closer to him. One step closer to losing him all over again.
"I've been here a month Doctor, I've never been anywhere that long... Pete's Universe notwithstanding." She pulled back slightly from the glomp and gave him the candy apple. "Eat!" she ordered. "You look... I wasn't just makin' a joke about dementors, yeah? You look pretty messed up." She chewed her bottom lip, trying to figure out how to explain to him that he was trying to figure out her timeline, and she couldn't completely figure out his and -- sod it, it was unnecessary.
"There's... an older version of you here. Scottish, guitarist -- oh blimey! And Missy! How could I forget that?! You're not the last of the timelords, yeah?! There's another! The Master? Your... younger version... the one with the recorder and Moe from the 3 Stooge's haircut? He and both your older version are right terrified of her, but--" Rose shrugged, "She's not so bad."
She gave him a gentle probing grin, and ruffled his hair with one hand. "Hey. Been missing you. There's a demon bloke, got your face. Not your eyes. Oh!! AND ginger hair, if you can believe it. And black wings. Your..." she rolled a hand in a circle, taking a chance. "Older version... yeah? Just keeps seein' a lot o' Meta in him I expect. So they don't get along great. Crowley, his name's Crowley. The demon. But he's pretty chill, for a demon."
And then despite the smile, Rose just started crying and buried herself into a hug around him, smothering her face in his shoulder. "Thought I'd never see you again," she cried.
