I. Exploring Main Street! Take a trip through a little town taken straight from 1890's America. Visit the shops, dine at the restaurants- but don't forget you are here on a mission. As an Apprentice, you will need to gather some supplies. A weapon, or tool for producing magic.

But we understand if that corn dog cart on Market Street is your first stop.

II. Apprentice Class 101! Practice your spell casting and weaponship on the open commons behind the Firehouse. Sparring, casting or just general confusion abound here. Try not to hit anything or...anyone, the paint on the infirmary is still drying.

III. Look out! A level 2 corroded monster has managed to get onto Main Street! Protect the citizens and defeat the cur, and please watch the damage, the paint is still wet!

IV. One Little Spark! Go ahead, show us the strength of your imagination and come up with your own scenarios. Just, stay out of the Corroded Lands...if possible.

Now there was something of an odd-looking fellow. Appearances aside though, he seemed to be a boy after Sylvando's own heart. Having caught on to the purpose behind the impromptu performance, he decided to help the young man out a little, joining in with a little improvised dance routine to go along with his song, hoping to attract more of an audience, and thus a bit more money.

Elan beamed happily, and got the vendor to let him borrow the lute he wanted to buy and he handed music to the singing and dancing. Nothing like bonuses to a performance check!

Sylvando grinned as the young man joined in on the lute, stepping up his dance routine to go along with it. By now they'd attracted a decent sized audience, and a few of them were even clapping in time to the song. "Keep it up, darling! You've got this!", he said.

wow, added, not handed, lol. Also wow he sounds like a happy Mettaton, lol.

He grinned. He was being included! This was fun! He took the circumstance bonus from the positive reaction and threw himself happily into the song.

That's not entirely an inaccurate description of him, given what I know of Mettaton. XD

Of course he was being included! Sylvando wasn't about to push a fellow performer out of his own spotlight, after all. Especially not when everyone involved was enjoying themselves so much.

Soon though, it seemed that the song was coming around to its end, as all songs must. But then the best part of any performance was the finale! "Time for the big finish!", he said.

He nodded happily, and picked up the pace and the energy for the rapidly approaching end.

As the song's final chords were struck, Sylvando struck a dramatic pose. The audience applauded the performance, enthusiastically, before some of them tossed some money into the borrowed hat. Which, as it turned out would be enough for Elan to buy that lute, and have enough to spare for lunch later.

Sylvando, meanwhile grinned and took a bow. This had been fun! And he hadn't even spilled any of his ice cream.

Elan bowed also, then counted the loot for the lute with wide eyes. Was he supposed to save a cut for Haley if she wasn't even here? He wasn't sure. He did know that if she showed up and he hadn't she'd be upset. But he had to share the loot with the other bard. And he really did want that lute.

So he came up with a brilliant idea.

"If I haggle with the vender for the lute then there should be enough loot to split three ways!"

"No need," Sylvando said, assuming he meant the other third to go to the merchant. "I had a good enough time that this one is on the house, darling."

"Though really, you're not half bad," he said. "We should work together again sometime. What's your name?"

"Really? Gee thanks! Haley will be thrilled!" He was so happy. "I'm Elan. And most of the time I'm told I'm not half good!"

Sylvando waved off the insult that the other had received before. "Eh, everyone's a critic, darling," he said. "You could use a bit of polish here and there, true, but you really do have talent."

He bowed theatrically as he introduced himself. "The Great Sylvando, at your service," he said. "Though who's this 'Haley', hmm? Is she your girlfriend?"

He nodded. "Yeah. And she's the best. But she said it is safer if she holds onto most of the money, and keeps some of it as a fee for being responsible for it. she's wonderful like that. She taught me how to haggle and everything."
