I. Exploring Main Street! Take a trip through a little town taken straight from 1890's America. Visit the shops, dine at the restaurants- but don't forget you are here on a mission. As an Apprentice, you will need to gather some supplies. A weapon, or tool for producing magic.

But we understand if that corn dog cart on Market Street is your first stop.

II. Apprentice Class 101! Practice your spell casting and weaponship on the open commons behind the Firehouse. Sparring, casting or just general confusion abound here. Try not to hit anything or...anyone, the paint on the infirmary is still drying.

III. Look out! A level 2 corroded monster has managed to get onto Main Street! Protect the citizens and defeat the cur, and please watch the damage, the paint is still wet!

IV. One Little Spark! Go ahead, show us the strength of your imagination and come up with your own scenarios. Just, stay out of the Corroded Lands...if possible.

I.

Elan has come to accept the oddness of this place and is skipping along happily when he sees the man in white with the white wings. His mismatched eyes go huge as he approaches.

"Excuse me, but I have to ask. You're in an all white suit. With fair hair and skin. And white wings. And don't look human. I just have to know. Because you sort of seem like you might be. I mean, I don't know much about these things. But. Are you. A... Doctor?" he asked, wide eyed and expectant.

What, you didn't expect him to actually guess you were an angel, did you?

"Don't look human?" What did that mean? Oh, the wings certainly, but he looked perfectly respectable. "I expect I might be glowing a bit." As that does happen.

But then...the last words throw him for a loop.

"Well... I suppose... of a sort..." He does heal after all and he is there to encourage people in their spiritual health. "I am a bit like a ... a faith healer."

"Oh. Like a cleric or a paladin? Cool. One of my best friends is a cleric, and there are some really nice Paladins who used to live in Azure city before it got taken over by the forces of evil," he said with a nod. "Well I mean, I guess some of them could have been chaotic, but I'm pretty sure that Xykon is evil, anyway. And Redcloak. You can tell because his cloak is red. Oh, and because he's a goblin. Pretty sure they're in the monster manual as always evil. I mean even those teenager goblins who decided to be good to rebel against their parents didn't stay good. Well, some of them did, but one of them kidnapped Haley. Which wasn't good. Unless maybe it was a good act since she's neutral? Does that make it a neutral act?" Now he was confusing himself. As well as anyone who had the misfortune to hear him.

Oh...dear. Fantasy. He's never been much good with fantasy. Nor scifi when it comes to it.

"I'm sure I don't know, my dear." Honestly he wasn't paying attention to most anything after Paladin. "I hope it works out for you."

Now he was really confused. "I think one of us just failed a listen check. Hope... what works out for me?"

"Whatever you like." He's not really interested in repeating that conversation. "So, what interesting things have you found out about this place?"

"Well, so far..." he considered. Then smiled. "You!" 18 Charisma is a go!

"Oh!" A hand goes to his heart and he beams, though tries to hide it. "Oh, thank you. Well I do try. Not supposed to, you know. Must 'blend in' and all that. But I feel like a bit of pomp and fuss gives one presence, you know. A little bit of an easier way to nudge people to good. But I'm glad I make an interesting impression. That's the nicest thing I've heard all day-- and for quite a while, actually. It's been a very stressful eleven years, let me tell you. Gracious."

Watch out, This guy latches on to people who are nice to him.

He nodded and took a seat. "Alright, go ahead and tell me!" he said happily.

"Well, I'll need alcohol I think before then. And a lot of it." It takes a lot of going through. "But I know a place if you've the time."

"Hey, I love a good plot recap! I'll always have time for that, it's a Bardic Class Skill, after all."

"Certainly." He's a bit offended at it being called a 'plot recap' and not an incredibly stressful period of his life, but never mind. "Shall we?" And before they get too much further. "Do you have any particular preferences as far as drinks go?"

He followed him happily. He was being included! YAY! "Haley says I'm not allowed alcohol if she isn't around anymore, but anything else should be fine!" The boy was bubbling over with happiness that he was about to get a plot hook!

"Well that's an interesting caveat. Do you mind if I ask why?" He is sure he's going to regret asking...

"Something about me winding up kissing one shot villains. For some reason that always makes her upset. I asked V if that was because the girls are younger and have a higher charisma than she has. But V says that wasn't it. And asking only made HAley angrier...."

Cutting through all the...terminology, he fortunately understands the core of it.

"It's possible she doesn't want you to kiss anyone else but her."

Have several rapid blinks as he processes that. "Wait... what?"
