"You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality."

I. Exploring Main Street! Take a trip through a little town taken straight from 1890's America. Visit the shops, dine at the restaurants- but don't forget you are here on a mission. As an Apprentice, you will need to gather some supplies. A weapon, or tool for producing magic.

But we understand if that corn dog cart on Market Street is your first stop.

II. Apprentice Class 101! Practice your spell casting and weaponship on the open commons behind the Firehouse. Sparring, casting or just general confusion abound here. Try not to hit anything or...anyone, the paint on the infirmary is still drying.

III. Look out! A level 2 corroded monster has managed to get onto Main Street! Protect the citizens and defeat the cur, and please watch the damage, the paint is still wet!

IV. One Little Spark! Go ahead, show us the strength of your imagination and come up with your own scenarios. Just, stay out of the Corroded Lands...if possible.

"Haven't you ever stayed in one of these before?" Noticing the other girl's apprehension and acting as some kind of expert on the subject FYI she isn't. The concept wasn't entirely foreign to her though just the word 'apartment' and some of the amenities they offered.

Her brilliant blue eyes darted briefly to the large metallic cylinder the stranger was carrying. She didn't have the first clue as to what that was supposed to even be so it would take a fair amount of bluffing on her part if it became the topic of choice. Or you could tell the truth Marisol. It was always an option you just never availed yourself of it.

"Oh?" A voice! Canon pulled herself from the intricacies of the sign of which there are none to look at the other female. She beamed, lifting her comically oversize cannon as though it were made of styrofoam to maintain her watch on it. Daddy might forgive many things, sure!, but something told her that he'd really, really lose it for real, really real this time doubtful if she lost it. "Well, mm, maybe not? The estate is very, very big but the houses in town are small."

She squinted toward the sign once more and nodded to herself, looking to the girl as though she were some kind of housing savant. "Not this small though, at least I have not seen any so small. Or, mm... hm." After a moment of thought she added: "Actually I have no clue! Going into the homes of other people? That just does not really seem all that right to me, I mean, do you think so? Even if you knock and just go in, you know, just to measure... I would worry they might think I were bragging."

She didn't have to. The people in her homeland knew her, she was popular and hard to miss thanks to her enormous cannon — and being her father's daughter.

The blonde with the curly pigtails certainly did move that cylinder with relative ease, it must be a lot lighter than it looks. Perhaps the hollowness of it contributed to that fact. Still- Marisol thought she had a decent sense about metals since her basic powers stemmed from geological modification but she was some how cut off from even that skill here. "Maybe..? Wouldn't you remember if you had?"

Straightening her posture, Marisol flipped her tail behind her awaiting an answer that was a little less confused. It took some time to receive one though. "Oh, that doesn't seem strange at all to me. As a priestess I am often visiting other people's homes in order to grant blessings and cast protective wards and charms over their domiciles." What a total load of.... Still, she clapped her hands together, closed her eyes and bowed forward like she were about to give a solemn prayer. Then she opened one eye breaking the illusion to see how her audience was taking it.

Then she opened both eyes and commented offhandedly, "You must be used to living in an expansive house"..

It had to be at least a bit lighter than it seemed. Canon was fairly dainty and in spite of the cannon, she wasn't exactly muscular. The hollowness likely helped somewhat, yes. Unlike this girl, Canon had no idea about metals. She scrunched her nose in thought, tilting her head and shrugged her shoulders. Should she remember? Probably. Did she? Well, other things have happened between then and now, right? "I guess, maybe. I do not know, really! I have been so occupied with practice and school, and helping with attempting to stop Ragnarok..."

The tail didn't seem to click with the young girl, but, being from a world were aesir, jotun and therians were the norm, it wouldn't. She raised her brows at the bow and chuckled, nodding. That made sense! Priestesses certainly did that kind of thing. "That makes sense for you! But, for someone like me who most definitely is not a priestess, it might be a tad bit droll to just go into the home of someone I do not know."

Canon blinked her large eyes. "Are you not? I thought priestesses lived in expansive temples..."

Perhaps that was part of it, the hollowness. Marisol had fashioned some of her sparkly adornments out of metallic deposits, and apparently didn't mind mixing them since some were silvery and others were golden in coloration. Yes- she certainly had enjoyed her connection to such things. She used to be able to feel untapped potential in the aforementioned baubles but now they felt cold and lifeless. It was jarring at first. Was this how metals felt to normal humans? "It's alright, you needn't trouble yourself to think back on it further." Though Marisol was curious she was not overly insistent. ".... What is Ragnarok?" Sounding it out slowly since she'd never attempted to say such a word before.

Fair point. Yes- see there was nothing suspicious about her story in the slightest. "Mm, I suppose so since you wouldn't have a purpose in doing so. It might be nice to enjoy seeing how others have arranged their living space though wouldn't it?" Getting into interior design briefly. Humans kept all manner of things in their homes and not all of them seemed useful, they were of interest to her.

"Temples come in a variety of sizes, dear girl." Stating this as if it should be common knowledge. "In fact the one I reside in is situated on a small island which is cut off from the mainland for most of the year. It is only during the springtime when the waters are navigable and I can make my yearly pilgrimage, and rounds of blessings. That's why being here is such a rare treat." The story just has to become bigger and bigger.

Metals, in Canon's opinion, were generally fairly cold given that they didn't really hold much heat. But could be very pretty to look at! She was a fan of pretty things and thus metals were in the category of things that she liked. How other humans felt about metals though was beyond her. She blinked her large red eyes in surprise. "You have no legends of Ragnarok?" How was that possible!

Canon didn't think so, clearly this woman was a priestess, no reason not to believe the lies it. "It might be nice, yes, if nothing else to get ideas for home decorating in newly added rooms!" As if her estate needed to be bigger.

"Oh," touché. Just further detail as to why she needn't be concerned with the words coming from her mouth. Canon wasn't a priestess and temples did have a variety of sizes depending on their locations. The blonde furrowed her brow. "Only ever in the spring? How sad, your pilgrimage must be relatively swift to then get back to the waters. How ever did you end up here?" The same as you, Canon. Magic.
