Character Meet and Greet

I. Exploring Main Street! Take a trip through a little town taken straight from 1890's America. Visit the shops, dine at the restaurants- but don't forget you are here on a mission. As an Apprentice, you will need to gather some supplies. A weapon, or tool for producing magic.
But we understand if that corn dog cart on Market Street is your first stop.
II. Apprentice Class 101! Practice your spell casting and weaponship on the open commons behind the Firehouse. Sparring, casting or just general confusion abound here. Try not to hit anything or...anyone, the paint on the infirmary is still drying.
III. Look out! A level 2 corroded monster has managed to get onto Main Street! Protect the citizens and defeat the cur, and please watch the damage, the paint is still wet!
IV. One Little Spark! Go ahead, show us the strength of your imagination and come up with your own scenarios. Just, stay out of the Corroded Lands...if possible.
Re: 1.
Annoyed Crowley slammed his hand down on the roof and wheeled around to the annoying specter hovering around behind him.
"That empty feeling means you are hungry! I don't know why a ghost is out there getting hungry, you would think being dead would cure that but then demons aren't supposed to get hungry either and here we are!"
He chomped down taking an angry bite of bagel.
"I'm not sharing, go steal your own bagel!"

" You heard all of that?" There wasn't much time to dedicate to that question as the new information was given to him. First the man had confirmed Astral's suspicions that he was not human, Secondly,"Hunger? I do not see how that could be it....". That was until he really thought about it? "So..... this is hunger?" Still sounding so unsure about the concept. ".... This is.... it is dreadful. It is one of the worst things I have ever experienced and to think humans must feel this all the time".
"I will never reprimand Yuma again for his insistence on halting a duel in order to acquire sustenance." He was about to ask how to make it stop, but the answer seemed fairly obvious.
Astral rankled a little at what was said next. "Steal? Like some common thief? That I cannot no will not do."

He huffed, not feeling much better because he had been able to work out his frustrations on the ghost.
"It was an emergency. That pain in your stomach won't just go away. It gets worse until it feels like it's going to eat you from the inside out. Once you get to that point tell me how wrong it is to steal some food."
He wouldn't listen, being a demon and all, but...

"It is going to get worse?" Astral's face looked as stricken as if you told him he had contracted malaria or some other deadly disease. He needed this thing, this hunger to go away before it became incapacitating.
"Still.... there is something I do not like about the act. Perhaps I could simply ask someone to spare a little food."
no subject
"Some say Adam and Eve didn't gain free will until they ate from the Forbidden Tree. Angels and Demons never did. Maybe that is why things are the way they are."
Which was oddly philosophical of him but lately he had been doing a great deal of soul searching. Which orders to follow, which ones to break out right, how to keep an angel out of trouble without catching Hell himself, how to prevent Armageddon... Lots to think about! Tons!
One bagel wasn't worth worrying about.
"Do what you like but don't want too long. People can die from not eating enough. Not sure that applies to ghosts," Nose scrunch, "But better to be safe than sorry. That's a saying isn't it?"
no subject
Observation number 24, Angels and Demons despite their commanding presence lack free will. It was apparently interesting enough to make it one of his
dreadedobservations.Astral was trying to prevent a sort of Armageddon himself, since his enemies seemed determined to destroy his own world. He could have related in some small part to that situation.
Perhaps not in context.
They can die from that as well? Humans are such fragile creatures. Astral, not wanting to test the theory for aliens.. or ghosts if you prefer, he excused himself to go in search of a kind soul.

"I said angels and demons never ate the apple not that we didn't have free will!"
This was called after the fleeing alien, ghost person, but he didn't pursue. Didn't have any food other than the bagel anyway.
