Character Meet and Greet

"You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality."

I. Exploring Main Street! Take a trip through a little town taken straight from 1890's America. Visit the shops, dine at the restaurants- but don't forget you are here on a mission. As an Apprentice, you will need to gather some supplies. A weapon, or tool for producing magic.

But we understand if that corn dog cart on Market Street is your first stop.

II. Apprentice Class 101! Practice your spell casting and weaponship on the open commons behind the Firehouse. Sparring, casting or just general confusion abound here. Try not to hit anything or...anyone, the paint on the infirmary is still drying.

III. Look out! A level 2 corroded monster has managed to get onto Main Street! Protect the citizens and defeat the cur, and please watch the damage, the paint is still wet!

IV. One Little Spark! Go ahead, show us the strength of your imagination and come up with your own scenarios. Just, stay out of the Corroded Lands...if possible.

"I always thought so, too," she acknowledged, following his gaze. "But the house my Dad bought looked even more normal than that, and it's haunted by some really cool ghosts."

She flashed him a smile and flipped the sketchbook back a couple of pages to show off a plain farmhouse. "That's what it looked like before my stepmother remodeled it. I liked it better that way."

"Oh! So you're from a place like this!" He is still sort of getting used to the way things look.

"I don't think I've seen a farm house like that, but you're right. It's too nice to be, you know, haunted. Oh!" He smiles warmly, "I'm Hercules.

"Sort of? I mean - it's smaller. Winter River, anyway. I lived in a city, before that, where the buildings are a lot bigger than here. So this place is kind of in the middle."

She returns the smile - maybe not quite as warmly, a little guarded, but still genuine. "I'm Lydia. ... So ... if the Merlin I met really does know King Arthur ..." She considers the possibilities of telling someone they're from a myth. It implies they aren't real, and that would be pretty insulting, from a certain angle. But Hercules being here, being real, means that the myths are true.

"Do you know Hades? The guy he's working with?"
