Character Meet and Greet

I. Exploring Main Street! Take a trip through a little town taken straight from 1890's America. Visit the shops, dine at the restaurants- but don't forget you are here on a mission. As an Apprentice, you will need to gather some supplies. A weapon, or tool for producing magic.
But we understand if that corn dog cart on Market Street is your first stop.
II. Apprentice Class 101! Practice your spell casting and weaponship on the open commons behind the Firehouse. Sparring, casting or just general confusion abound here. Try not to hit anything or...anyone, the paint on the infirmary is still drying.
III. Look out! A level 2 corroded monster has managed to get onto Main Street! Protect the citizens and defeat the cur, and please watch the damage, the paint is still wet!
IV. One Little Spark! Go ahead, show us the strength of your imagination and come up with your own scenarios. Just, stay out of the Corroded Lands...if possible.

"If that is what you need to believe in order to cope with your own loss..." Not that her intention was to rub it in.
"As high-level mage I'm always in high demand. I've received so many summons from nations far and wide that I simply can't keep track of them all. That's... really what I'm doing here now. I suppose you've heard all about the perils that are facing this land already?"

10? Try 10 Billion. Which was relatively young for her kind. She hadn't been in this form long though- no. This was new.The laughter was sharp on her ears so Marisol flattened them to try and mitigate that. Mal undoubtedly had more practice, but Marisol was trying not to be too deterred. Only one person had questioned her so far and this was not her most outlandish tale.Besides, what did she really have to talk about without her stories?
"What makes you so sure that you're right?"

Marisol stopped herself from openly questioning why anyone was stepping on the girl's case in the first place. It could just be another figure of speech. The words themselves weren't half bad. She'd give the speech maybe a 7 out of 10? The only problem with it was how could you "just be yourself" when you were being held back by physical limitations and you'd never truly had "to be" anyone before?
Still- it sounded like the advice was meant to help her so she faintly smiled. If this person was trying to help then the story had at least been intriguing enough for her to linger around. "Then you shouldn't be upset either- being here without your magic. If magic isn't the most important thing."

Which was something of a lie. She had become a little dependant on her magic of late. Which... Ben had pointed out right before she left.

That's it. That's enough for this place. For this girl.
