Character Meet and Greet

I. Exploring Main Street! Take a trip through a little town taken straight from 1890's America. Visit the shops, dine at the restaurants- but don't forget you are here on a mission. As an Apprentice, you will need to gather some supplies. A weapon, or tool for producing magic.
But we understand if that corn dog cart on Market Street is your first stop.
II. Apprentice Class 101! Practice your spell casting and weaponship on the open commons behind the Firehouse. Sparring, casting or just general confusion abound here. Try not to hit anything or...anyone, the paint on the infirmary is still drying.
III. Look out! A level 2 corroded monster has managed to get onto Main Street! Protect the citizens and defeat the cur, and please watch the damage, the paint is still wet!
IV. One Little Spark! Go ahead, show us the strength of your imagination and come up with your own scenarios. Just, stay out of the Corroded Lands...if possible.
XD I didn't even notice
"May I thank you with a spot of lunch? Or something to drink perhaps? My treat."

"Well...!" He sits, carefully arranging his wings. "I suppose booths are out. But I've always preferred something a little more elegant. And this place...is... well... quite interesting." A smile and he flicks open the menu. "Anything you could recommend."

She leaned back and scowled a bit. "You want a feast, ask Miss Potts. Unless you have my spell book, we're stuck with whatever they have here."

"Just think of it as a culinary adventure then! Try something that looks wonderful, or even that you might not like, and, with any luck; we'll be pleasantly surprised. Go on..." he gestures toward the menu.
"Be my guest."

She tapped her lips with a pale pink fingernail, then scowled down at the colour. She needed a makeover, stat.

Besides which he really can't afford all that.

A shame, though. She hated to admit it, but she really had gotten spoiled over strawberries back in Auradon, and doubted he'd pick anything that had them. Which was probably just as well, since they would always remind her of the life she turned her back on. A life too good for the likes of her. She was Mal from the Isle. She would always be Mal from the Isle.

Because of course. There is a delicious little strawberry torte, which he gets for her. As well as a sparkling lemonade for them both and a nice chocolate crepe for himself because it looks and smells delicious though he's sure that the quality is standard at best.

She flicked her cup with a nail when it came. "Bit on the nose, isn't it?" she challenged. Did he actually know her? From Auradon perhaps? She was on the news all the time, so it was possible.

He looks down at his crepes.
"I just hope these are made with some finesse."

A taste reveals the food is...adequate. At least he can appreciate it so that's saying something.
