Character Meet and Greet

I. Exploring Main Street! Take a trip through a little town taken straight from 1890's America. Visit the shops, dine at the restaurants- but don't forget you are here on a mission. As an Apprentice, you will need to gather some supplies. A weapon, or tool for producing magic.
But we understand if that corn dog cart on Market Street is your first stop.
II. Apprentice Class 101! Practice your spell casting and weaponship on the open commons behind the Firehouse. Sparring, casting or just general confusion abound here. Try not to hit anything or...anyone, the paint on the infirmary is still drying.
III. Look out! A level 2 corroded monster has managed to get onto Main Street! Protect the citizens and defeat the cur, and please watch the damage, the paint is still wet!
IV. One Little Spark! Go ahead, show us the strength of your imagination and come up with your own scenarios. Just, stay out of the Corroded Lands...if possible.
Re: 1
who was getting to eat while he wasn't."Dat's not the point, it's still wrong." He asserted though his convictions were soon challenged. Joey started to envision taking one himself and his mouth watered. I mean- there was some logic in it, flawed though it was. If no one was here to see it, there would be no retribution for it.
After a noticeable pause, he shook his head. "You dunno who runs dis place, dhey might need every sale just to make ends meet." Not that it looked like the shop was hurting from a lack of funding.
Re: 1
And he took a bite.
"If you look at it from that angle I'm actually saving them from wasting food."
That was true. He had never met the shop's owner and actually he hoped he wouldn't right now. Owners weren't the most understanding people when it came to sharing food without offering some form of payment in return.
"They run a business in the middle of Main Street in the busiest... whatever this is... trust me, they aren't hurting for cash!"
Re: 1
When the bagel started to disappear, he had to fight back a whimper. I mean sure it looked like it had been sitting out too long, and that it wouldn't be all that filling but it was still better than nothing.
Joey could have really gone for a few free samples right now himself which is why he was more susceptible to Crowley's dishonest suggestion.
"No, maybe not but..... it still doesn't make it right." There good, solid. So he had his convictions, ..... and an empty stomach.
Re: 1
And with a last bite the stolen bagel had disappeared like it had never existed in the first place. The perfect crime! It's not like they could find the stolen food object now.
"Look, if they hadn't kidnapped all of us in the first place then we might have been able to get food the proper way. I know I would have had my wallet on me if I had been planning to leave my flat. They actually owe us a meal... in addition to a way to get back to our own worlds."
Re: 1
Truthfully, even if Joey had his wallet on him, it would be empty. It usually remained in that state. When he did have some money, it often went into important things like card games.
"It's dat Merlin guy you should be taken an issue wit... or Hades."
Re: 1
It was protection money pure and simple! Which... gave him an interesting idea for a money making scheme. Maybe he could shake down a few of these business owners.
