"You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality."

I. Exploring Main Street! Take a trip through a little town taken straight from 1890's America. Visit the shops, dine at the restaurants- but don't forget you are here on a mission. As an Apprentice, you will need to gather some supplies. A weapon, or tool for producing magic.

But we understand if that corn dog cart on Market Street is your first stop.

II. Apprentice Class 101! Practice your spell casting and weaponship on the open commons behind the Firehouse. Sparring, casting or just general confusion abound here. Try not to hit anything or...anyone, the paint on the infirmary is still drying.

III. Look out! A level 2 corroded monster has managed to get onto Main Street! Protect the citizens and defeat the cur, and please watch the damage, the paint is still wet!

IV. One Little Spark! Go ahead, show us the strength of your imagination and come up with your own scenarios. Just, stay out of the Corroded Lands...if possible.

"You're right! These people are supposed to be for... protecting things and on the side of good, right? That's what they said were here here for, wasn't it? To save stuff? Then why can't they just ask us for help, rather than kidnap us? That's... not good. If they'd ask, I'm sure there'd be a lotta people who'd jump to help."

Fenton folded his arms and huffed petulantly, joining him in sulking. "Well... at the least they'll get a strongly-worded letter of complaint from me, that's for sure!"

"When you do make sure to send it to that 'wizard' in the blue nightgown."

Those might have been robes but they weren't the least bit impressive to him, definitely looked like light blue bed clothes complete with a far too heavily starched nightcap.

"In fact I wonder... if we did enough of that maybe they would begin to regret it all and send everyone home. What do they call it..." Searching for a word, "Civil disobedience?"

"Check," said Fenton. The guy in blue did seem to be the one more in charge of everything. Hopefully he was more willing to listen, too.

Fenton scratched his head. "If we don't agree to help, will they even send us home? They can get other people. But if we don't agree to help, and we're still all stuck here, and those things keep invading... If no one agrees to help..." A shudder ran through him at the thought of what that'd mean. Then he sighed. "Talk about being stuck between a rock and a hard place."

He felt torn. Fenton wanted to help... it was just part of the inherent hero nature of his. Was it too much to ask for a little payment to help make ends meet, though? Since this place expected them to pay for anything beyond basic housing and food... He knew if worse came to worse, though, he'd stay and help. Someone had to.

If no one agrees to help... Crowley sighs, speaking the words with a touch of defeat.

"End of the World."

Seemed to be what it always came down to for him. Help or... end of everything. But, he still saw no reason at all to be happy about it or to march just because 'they' said he should. He had done enough of that already.
