I. Exploring Main Street! Take a trip through a little town taken straight from 1890's America. Visit the shops, dine at the restaurants- but don't forget you are here on a mission. As an Apprentice, you will need to gather some supplies. A weapon, or tool for producing magic.

But we understand if that corn dog cart on Market Street is your first stop.

II. Apprentice Class 101! Practice your spell casting and weaponship on the open commons behind the Firehouse. Sparring, casting or just general confusion abound here. Try not to hit anything or...anyone, the paint on the infirmary is still drying.

III. Look out! A level 2 corroded monster has managed to get onto Main Street! Protect the citizens and defeat the cur, and please watch the damage, the paint is still wet!

IV. One Little Spark! Go ahead, show us the strength of your imagination and come up with your own scenarios. Just, stay out of the Corroded Lands...if possible.

"heh... well, I appreciate you going out of your way, then."

Well at least he was from the same world as him. That was reassuring. (The whole concept of 'alternate realities of the same world' still hadn't been brought up to Fenton) He scratched the bast of his bill in thought. "The name's familiar... Oh! Wait! That's Mr. McDuck's nephew, isn't it? Huey, Dewey and Louie's uncle! The one that's in the Navy? I've heard of him, but never met him."

"McDuck? Ah, the very, very rich duck? Yes! That is his uncle. Ah, you would like him. Donal' is a very good person, a great friend!"

Ze knew the nephews from Donald's stories, as well as a ah bit more personal knowledge of Scrooge. "But, wait, in the Navy?" Head tilt, "I though that Donald stop that a while ago. He lives in Duckberg with his little ducklings and, ah...her name, oh! Daisy!"

So, alternate realities you say?

"Yeah, that's him! I'm his accountant," said Fenton proudly, puffing out his chest. Even if Scrooge (most likely) had to actually teach him how to DO the job, properly! "Maybe I'll catch Donald the next time he's got leave."

Wait, what?

Fenton's brow furrowed in confusion. "Nnnnnoooo... he's still in the Navy. The boys are living with Scrooge in the mansion, while Donald's off in the Navy. They've been there for a while, now." A blink. "And I haven't heard of anyone by the name of Daisy."

Okay, this was weird.

"His..accountant?" That didn't sound very exciting but, eh, most work was not exciting. Ze's look shifted, looking slightly confused before shaking his head.

"No, no, no. Daisy is a very, very beautiful duck that has become lucky and caught the eye of Donald." He scratches his head. This, was...odd. He knew that Donald and his three little nephews lived a very civilian life.

"I am certain Donal' is no ah, active? That is the word, yes?"

Fenton's shoulders slumped slightly at that reaction. It's not like the reaction to hearing what his job was, was anything new. Yeah, being an accountant might not be the most glamerous job... but it paid the bills! (And he couldn't tell anyone about his "other" job.)

"Well he's a very lucky fellow, then!" Though hearing that made him miss Gandra. Ahhh... his lovely Gandra Dee! He hoped she was doing okay back home. She probably was. He wondered if she knew he was missing. Was she worried about him? Oh... he didn't want to upset her so. Then he wondered if his M'ma even knew he was gone. Though he was worried about her, too. Would she be okay, if he was gone for too long a time? Was anyone aware he was missing?

Jose's words snapped him out of his distraction, and he scratched his head in turn. "Ahh... no. Donald's still on active duty. At least as far as I know. The boys were still living in the mansion with Scrooge, the last I saw, which was just a few days ago." He dropped his hand to his chin, narrowing his eyes. "This is all very confusing. How come we both know the same people, but... differently, too?" A pause. "Where's that blue-clad magician guy that brought us here? I think I've got a few questions for him!"

Well, a LOT of questions, but one really pressing one at the moment. Namely, what was going on, here?

Jose did not want to really bother either Merlin or the god of Death. He was pretty much done with dealing with strong things like destiny and morals. At least, done with dealing with personifications of them.

"No, it...h-hold on." He is thinking, "When I firs' meet Donal', I use a little ah, well trick to go to different places. They were not the same as the actual place but eh, close enough. Is this...something you have heard of?"

Fenton just gave Jose a very confused look. Sorry, Ze, but he didn't understand a word of that. He gives his head a small shake, then tries to piece together what Jose's trying to say.

"Okay, wait. What do you mean 'a trick'? You're saying... you and Donald travelled to a place. But it wasn't the place?" How... what? That doesn't make sense! "Like... you wanted to get a burger at the Hamburger Hippo but ended up at the Kooky Carnival instead, so you thought 'good enough'?"

Poor Fenton is very, very confused here. Help him, Jose.

[ooc: no idea what the Duckburg equivilant to Darkwing Duck's "Hamburger Hippo" would be, so I just made up a name... c_c;; Based off the one scene from "Frozen Assets"]

"It was eh, just a little black magic. Nothing more but no, no more as in. I am in Rio but wishing to go to Duckburg. I open a book, and jump into the picture and ah! Now I am in Duckburg, but not the real one. Maybe a different time or different people."

He can handle explanations. Between Panchito, Alfonso and Nestor; he's had practice.
