Character Meet and Greet

I. Exploring Main Street! Take a trip through a little town taken straight from 1890's America. Visit the shops, dine at the restaurants- but don't forget you are here on a mission. As an Apprentice, you will need to gather some supplies. A weapon, or tool for producing magic.
But we understand if that corn dog cart on Market Street is your first stop.
II. Apprentice Class 101! Practice your spell casting and weaponship on the open commons behind the Firehouse. Sparring, casting or just general confusion abound here. Try not to hit anything or...anyone, the paint on the infirmary is still drying.
III. Look out! A level 2 corroded monster has managed to get onto Main Street! Protect the citizens and defeat the cur, and please watch the damage, the paint is still wet!
IV. One Little Spark! Go ahead, show us the strength of your imagination and come up with your own scenarios. Just, stay out of the Corroded Lands...if possible.
Re: III
Pointing his wand at an up-ended garbage can, Fenton swung his arm towards the monster. He didn't know quite which 'classification' of spell he was trying to pull; wishful or energy... (he was still rather confused by the prospect as a whole). He just wanted that garbage can on the head of that monster. Distract it, blind it, whatever... Well, the garbage can DID fly right at the monster, only it failed to get stuck on the thing's head, slamming into the side of its head, instead.
"Oooops..." mumbled Fenton, biting the bottom of his bill. Well... at least it seems to have disorientated the monster for a second?

"We might have to get out of here faster than expected. Hold on tightly!" And he spreads his wings and tries his first fly spell. Not that he can't fly on his own but the spell certainly gives him a boost to get him off the ground quick.
Too quick in fact.
Entirely too quick.
One could say they are shooting fifty feet in the air and zipped away by the wind as Aziraphale fights to get control.
This...was probably not the best idea in retrospect.

Fenton clutched at the guy, wrapping both arms and his legs around him, holding on for dear life. This was too high. This was MUCH too high! And too fast. The flight felt like a roller coaster gone out of control. He'd really like to have his helmet-copter right about now, thankyouverymuch! Fenton squeezed his eyes shut as he held on tighter.
"At least we got away from that thing?"

"If you can find a good place to set down that would be much appreciated."

Managing to pull his head away from where it had been pressed into this stranger's chest, Fenton opened his eyes and looked around. "H- how about down there? The plaza in front of the train station? Is that enough space to land? We could always land on a roof, too... but then we'd have to get down from that."

When he does land it's a bit of a stumble to his knees and he winces.
"My wings are going to be sore for weeks."
