This is totally why the wings should have been ripped clean off, it's just something that despite his earlier threat Chazz wouldn't do. Perhaps the low level duel spirits could sense that side of him and that's why they tended to haunt him. Or in other words, he would mostly tolerate them.

This made for a ridiculous scene as Chazz tried to escape, but he could hear the singing trailing along after him. "I'm just glad no one from school can see this...." he muttered to himself. As he neared this area with a bunch of pirate memorabilia, he noticed there was a cage holding a stuffed parrot. Eyes glinting, he altered his course to steer towards that.
