Rose is vaguely overwhelmed in a strange sort of way, and just completely melts into the hug. Lydia, you are the worst fail goth ever, and Rose loves her completely. Woe to anyone who even vaguely tries to hurt Lydia they will have to fight through the Bad Wolf herself. At minimum.

Rose is a little flustered and tries to think of something to cover for it and just gives up, the hug is enough. "It will, definitely," she promised quietly. "Come on," she laughed softly, reminded all too well of herself at that age, trying to take to care of adults, and even now, Rose usually was trying to take care of people hundreds or thousands of years older than her rather than letting them guard her.
