Eh, he was a ghost... alien... thing... besides many humans had forgotten all about Adam and Eve. It wasn't so unusual. What was unusual, or maybe it was more annoying, was being told he didn't have any free will. Did they? They must! Otherwise he would have went blindly along with this whole Armageddon thing. He knew the difference between right and wrong, most of the time, he just tended to favor those things considered 'wrong'.

"I said angels and demons never ate the apple not that we didn't have free will!"

This was called after the fleeing alien, ghost person, but he didn't pursue. Didn't have any food other than the bagel anyway.
