Really? Did these werewolves have any idea who they were up against? A fiendish glint flashed in her eyes as she raised an arm aloft and towards the sky. At this point there were quite a few details she hadn't realized yet, that included that there was someone resting on the rooftop and ... well...
"O sea of clouds that covers heaven! Hear my voice! Know my will! I am Urd, greatest of the three Norns! And I call down the lightning!"
It was all very dramatic in the way she intoned her words and coupled it with her gestures, but there was that other thing she hadn't realized to contend with.
She was completely cut off from Yggdrasil and her powers. Urd just stood there for a moment, awaiting the fireworks but when none came, her face fell. The werewolves had apparently been expecting more too, as they did not immediately set upon her. Then the alpha snarled something that was incomprehensible to her but must have meant something to the others. They began circling again, readying themselves to go for the strike.
A sweatdrop rolled down her features, as her eyebrow began to twitch.
