He pushed himself off the wall casually and watched, waiting for the moment when the bird's beak went for the man again. Then Aahz stepped calmly between them, grabbed the descending beak in a bear hug few non-Pervects could manage and smirked up at the creature. With that he let go and dropped to the ground, watching the bird take in his small form, and then watching it cross its eyes to see the fracture in its beak.
