"I am trying, you know. It's been a while since I've had to...Oof..." he has to stop where he is and catch his breath a moment. They are out of the alleyway anyway and a closer to the fire escape on the other side. The low growl makes his feathers ruffle and Crowley's words make it worse.

Now he's paranoid, looking around for any sign of the beast.

"Well keep an eye out." He starts to jog again, telling himself that he will really need to do something if they're going to be forced to stay here much longer.

Another thought makes him slow and come to a stop. What if there are others who would be hurt by the creature?
