Despite any lack of psychic powers, or seeming magic, or seeming anything unusual about the human girl -- except an extreme amount of timedust, void 'stuff' and a subtle hint that she'd been through hell itself; apparently more than once -- she starts singing for him, as if she knows exactly what he's looking for.
