At that, Gwen watches Mal carefully. It's not a malicious look, more one of curiosity and concern. This girl wasn't her. She was aware of that now. It was just a physical resemblance. They were both tough girls, Gwen could see that easily. But Mal's was a different kind of tough.
"You don't have to take my word for it because we just met like...two minutes ago, but I can assure you I'm not the type to actively try to harm people. Unless they were actively trying to harm others, and then it's just trying to subdue them."
She pauses, taking another sip of her soda and shrugging. "There's also the fact that I'm drinking this soda and if I'd done anything to it for the intention of hurting anyone, why would I be touching it?"
