I. Main Street Usa!

It's twilight, edging to evening, and yet the streets are still alive with citizens and Apprentices (that means you!) alike. Take the time to admire the lights, pop in and out of the cafes or just relax in the garden.

Weapon shops and magic shops are open late into the evening this time of year, so feel free to enjoy yourself before you equip yourself for the life head.


II. Apprentice Training 101- Evening Class

Same commons behind the fire house, same weapons and wands available for practicing your skills-- though this time under the cozy street lights and the bright blues and tired purples of a fading summer twilight. Strike at the training dummy or try to catch fireflies with whispers, its all up to you.


III. Things that Go Bump

Are bumping. And they mean business. A few level 1 corroded monsters are scurrying around Main Street causing havoc and it's up to you to stop them. The question is, is it early in the evening or do you dare to face the creatures at the night's darkest hour?


IV. It's time to Sparkle!

Everyone has a spark of imagination. That is, in fact, why you're here! It's time to shine with your own scenario! Just try to keep from causing too much trouble.

This is so wild. Buggy's mind is blown, and he gives Ace's chest a hell of a look over. He almost expects to see a hole through it, and while it's reassuring that it's solid, what magic can do is a bit frightening.

And a bit exciting.] Well damn! I knew it could do some flashy stuff, but this is way more than even I expected! Well, you're here and alive! And that's what counts I guess! Let's get that drink, and talk about stuff where it's comfortable. Flashy!

[Buggy isn't smart enough for second thoughts in this context. It's just alcohol, right? Nothing to be afraid of. Nothing at all.]

Wait, you're monster type? [He's almost mad for a minute. Considering Ace's death, and what people thought of him and Gol D. Roger, it's almost insult to injury that he ended up a monster here. Salt in a wound, the kid isn't a monster, he just didn't stand a chance back home. But Buggy isn't in the mood to dwell on things like that, so he pushes the thought and accompanying emotions away almost as fast as they come into his head.] Yeah, no. I'm not. But it's not like I can't still drink you under a table fabulously. [He probably can't, but he'll make a damn good attempt at it.]

[Luckily Ace doesn't mind being a monster type, he's sort of embracing the son of a demon thing, even if he did scare off his first roommate since Crowley was talking about killing the Antichrist and came across as Cipher Pol. Good times? No wait, the opposite of that.]

[The shit is literally liquid explosives, Buggy. Talk about flashy! But Ace merrily leads him to his "lab" which is just a section of the park. Hi, you're in a really really weird place now. Even by Grand Line standards. And Ace cheerfully hands him a bottle!] You're the second person to try this though! I promised Eleanor first taste. She's dead like me.

[This place is literally insane. Even Buggy's going to be wary of the weirdness that goes on in it.]

That's right! It's a challenge. We'll see how flashy a game you talk when you're dead drunk! [Shit. Oh, not the best wording.] When you're sloshed, I mean!

[He's trying. But he's also making bad decisions in this, and he follows Ace to the 'lab' without realizing just how much trouble he's potentially in. The bottle looks normal enough, and he opens it without a second thought. And takes a decent swig out of it.

SHIT. THAT IS STRONG STUFF. Buggy stares into the bottle with wide eyes, and then back to Ace. This is going to hit him hard, he just knows it.] ...What's in this?!

[Don't worry Buggy, Ace just laughs.]

All right you're on, man!!

[Laughs even harder at Buggy's reaction and holds a finger up over his lips.] That's a secret. [Murder, death, NOT corrosion.... but just about anything else Ace thought might do the trick. Yes.] But it won't kill you, just make you stronger.

[Famous last words.]

[Buggy isn't laughing after a drink. This tastes like shit. And it's probably a potential ingredient for a Buggy Bomb of some type. Seriously, it tastes like flammable messy death.] You're holding out on me. This is ten sorts of awful, but it seems like it'd be good for something. [He takes another drink, and blinks at Ace. This kid is something else.] Seriously. Let's make a bomb with it. I think we could make a flashy explosive death or two with this!

I'm here for the same reason you are, you know that? [He hopes that Ace is smarter than Luffy and easier to deal with. Because seriously, this is a good idea.] What if we make a bomb to take out what were 'spposed to be fighting. And activate it and amplify it with magic? I'm just saying that we won't know the results until there's a flashy test!
