I. Main Street Usa!

It's twilight, edging to evening, and yet the streets are still alive with citizens and Apprentices (that means you!) alike. Take the time to admire the lights, pop in and out of the cafes or just relax in the garden.

Weapon shops and magic shops are open late into the evening this time of year, so feel free to enjoy yourself before you equip yourself for the life head.


II. Apprentice Training 101- Evening Class

Same commons behind the fire house, same weapons and wands available for practicing your skills-- though this time under the cozy street lights and the bright blues and tired purples of a fading summer twilight. Strike at the training dummy or try to catch fireflies with whispers, its all up to you.


III. Things that Go Bump

Are bumping. And they mean business. A few level 1 corroded monsters are scurrying around Main Street causing havoc and it's up to you to stop them. The question is, is it early in the evening or do you dare to face the creatures at the night's darkest hour?


IV. It's time to Sparkle!

Everyone has a spark of imagination. That is, in fact, why you're here! It's time to shine with your own scenario! Just try to keep from causing too much trouble.

"I didn't request anything?" Rose is confused, but this is nothing new. If Michael truly thinks humans should just have anger and confusion for their two base and only emotions, then Rose is his perfect person. "Hello? I'm Rose Tyler."

"Hi! I'm Janet." Bing! Have a paperweight with the word sutcac on it.

[bigbadrose]

"OH!!! Michael's--" TARDIS, probably best not confuse the not-robot right now. "Friend!" Friend right, unless it was a different Janet, but --"I assume you know Michael? Because he said you're special among Janets, because you--" it's probably impolite to mention a thousand plus rebootings. "Were super evolved to do more than any other of your kind. Unless I just put my foot in it, in which case, ignore this."

She took the paperweight. "Thank you, what's a sutcac?"

"Michael." Bing! A balloon appears over her head but she doesn't seem to notice it. As for the rest. "Okay!" Consider it ignored.

Rose rubs her temples in thought. If the Doctor thought the TARDIS was bad out of the time-vortex of his universe, it had nothing on a Janet in magic-land.

"Do you know Michael? He's an architect," she very very very slowly articulated the words carefully.

"Michael." Another balloon appears. "I do know Michael."

"Great, yeah," good, Rose liked being right. Who didn't? "What's with the speech bubbles," she pokes one. "'S it like Clippy or something? Are you trying to message him? I can call him if you want. We don't have phones here, but we have mirrors that work like phones."

She looks up. "They are glitches. Nothing to worry about." One of them pops but she doesn't even flinch. "What would you like?"

"Oh um... to talk, is that all right?" A beat, because Rose realizes it must be difficult when you're used to being summoned or dragged somewhere only to provide service. "Welcome to the Magic Kingdoms?" she was not a good welcoming guide, but she could try!!! "You're an apprentice now! More than any other Janet before! And most architects or other souls!! Congratulations!!!" She threw some magic confetti over the not-woman. "Being an apprentice means you are poised to help save the multiverse from corruption. Fantastic, yeah?" Debateably. "Um.... it'll probably take your abilities a little offline," Rose pudged a cheek out the side, not even sure she was using the correct terminology, or if it would translate, but she had to give it her best, right? Maybe it was like talking to horses. "But you'll gain new ones through trial and error."

Rose held both hands up, "I know, errors are kinda terrifying, yeah? But they're okay!!! Errors in this case will help you grow and learn better, and help those of us around you help you too! I promise!"
