I. Main Street Usa!

It's twilight, edging to evening, and yet the streets are still alive with citizens and Apprentices (that means you!) alike. Take the time to admire the lights, pop in and out of the cafes or just relax in the garden.

Weapon shops and magic shops are open late into the evening this time of year, so feel free to enjoy yourself before you equip yourself for the life head.


II. Apprentice Training 101- Evening Class

Same commons behind the fire house, same weapons and wands available for practicing your skills-- though this time under the cozy street lights and the bright blues and tired purples of a fading summer twilight. Strike at the training dummy or try to catch fireflies with whispers, its all up to you.


III. Things that Go Bump

Are bumping. And they mean business. A few level 1 corroded monsters are scurrying around Main Street causing havoc and it's up to you to stop them. The question is, is it early in the evening or do you dare to face the creatures at the night's darkest hour?


IV. It's time to Sparkle!

Everyone has a spark of imagination. That is, in fact, why you're here! It's time to shine with your own scenario! Just try to keep from causing too much trouble.

Eleanor doesn't look up from her lunch on the the patio of the restaurant she doesn't bother remembering the name of before accepting the glass.

"Hey, thanks."

She took a sip and immediately spit it out on the ground "What the fuck is..." her gaze finally lifted to the woman smiling at her and the disgusting taste in her mouth is immediately forgotten. "Holy shit balls. Janet?!"

"Hi! I am currently calibrating." There is a ping and have a whiskey bottle filled with suspiciously colored liquid. "I have been calibrating for seven hours, sixteen minutes and forty nine seconds, fifty seconds, fifty one seconds, fifty two seconds, fifty three seconds" But she's not panicking because she does not have emotions.

"Shit."

She took the bottle and set it on the table, standing and taking Janet by the shoulders

"Okay, okay. I get it. Janet... You're not in the Neighborhood anymore. We're not in our dimension anymore. Oh man that's gotta be fucking with your... You."

"... seventeen minutes and zero seconds, one second, two seconds, three seconds, four seconds, five seconds..." There is a ping and an upside-down cactus appears. A mechanical goose with a sombrero. A mustache that flaps around. As more things appear she begins to sob uncontrollably but doesn't stop counting.

But she is not panicking because she does not have emotions.

Eleanor yelps and ducks to avoid that mustache.

"Okay I don't know if this is gonna help or make things worse... But here goes!"

She leans back and slaps Janet across the face. That's what you do with hysterical people, right?

Still sobbing she slaps her back.

"I am currently rechalhalibraihaihaiting... Bwaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh"

Slapping contest is go!

What? It's a reflex.

"just stop making shit appear!"

"Okay!" Tears stop. Smile back on. The things created are still around but nothing new is appearing.

Eleanor nods, relieved things had calmed down.

"Good. Good. Okay. Why don't you sit down?" She gestured to the seat across from where she'd been.

"Okay!" She doesn't sit, but due to the nature of the request out of context, she stands on the chair.

...... Wut

"Janet. You're not sitting. That's... You're standing on the chair."

[isthatacactus]

"I am standing on the chair." There's a ping and she presents a large apology cactus made out of green shrimp that taste like jalapeños.

Oh she'll gladly take that shrimp cactus. So gladly in fact that she plucks one off and takes a bite.

And almost immediately regrets it. She speaks with her mouth full, "Oh shit that's hot. good but hot." She swallows, "Janet. You've gotta either sit your ass down or just stand on the ground. You're weirding me out."

Decisions are not her forte. In a moment she ends up lying on the ground with her legs in the chair effectively sitting on it but backwards.

"Is this more calming?"

At this point some of the locals are looking at them like they're insane. She sets her cactus down (after finishing her shrimp) and reaches to help Janet up.

"Why don't you just stand up here. Nice and not complicated. Now... What the hell is going on?"

She stands easily enough, hands clasped in front of her.

"This is not the Good Place. I am attempting to calibrate. Imagination.exe has failed to launch. Would you like to send a report to the administrator?"

Yeah that's not good.

She shakes her head, "No, nope. Definitely not. I'd say your wifi is waaaaaaaay out of range."
