I. Main Street Usa!

It's twilight, edging to evening, and yet the streets are still alive with citizens and Apprentices (that means you!) alike. Take the time to admire the lights, pop in and out of the cafes or just relax in the garden.

Weapon shops and magic shops are open late into the evening this time of year, so feel free to enjoy yourself before you equip yourself for the life head.

II. Apprentice Training 101- Evening Class

Same commons behind the fire house, same weapons and wands available for practicing your skills-- though this time under the cozy street lights and the bright blues and tired purples of a fading summer twilight. Strike at the training dummy or try to catch fireflies with whispers, its all up to you.

III. Things that Go Bump

Are bumping. And they mean business. A few level 1 corroded monsters are scurrying around Main Street causing havoc and it's up to you to stop them. The question is, is it early in the evening or do you dare to face the creatures at the night's darkest hour?

IV. It's time to Sparkle!

Everyone has a spark of imagination. That is, in fact, why you're here! It's time to shine with your own scenario! Just try to keep from causing too much trouble.

Missy gasped sharply, jerking backwards from the table. The movement hurt and she hissed in pain. She realized her hand had instinctively moved towards where she typically kept a weapon. Finding nothing, she took a breath and tried to relax.

"Where the hell did you come from?"

"Hmm? Oh, the roof," she said pointing. Ah! she saw how to get down now. She bent deeply at the knee, toon a breath, then launched herself skyward. "Don't mind me!" she flipped, throwing herself to the side when she hit the peak of her arc, and landed neatly on the curb, both feet on it like it was a balance beam, hands spread. After a moment to be sure she was landed and done, she walked over more normally. "Sorry, I had been practicing and apparently that edge couldn't take as much weight as I had hoped."

"Well aren't you... Nimble."

Her voice is level, with no hint of actual emotion in it. She's not impressed, just making one of those innane obvious observations that humans seem to like.

"Practicing what?"

"Thanks!" she said, happily. "And that, mostly, staying nimble. I mean, once everything is done and we've saved the day we get to go back home, right? I worked too hard to get onto the cast to let myself fall out of practice. Besides, I could never face myself, or Layla if I did." Or Fool. No she did NOT miss him, shut up.

She stretched her arms over her head as she spoke.

The nitwit thought she was talking to someone who cared. Poor addled thing.

"Yes, well, I suppose you've got a lot of training to do, then, to avoid landing in other people's work."

"Yep!" she said, undeterred. "But I won't stop, so don't worry!"

Joy. She forced a smile, trying so very hard to stay good.

"Good for you. Stubborn and determined. So... Human."

"Thanks!" she said cheerfully. "What about you?"

Her eyebrows raise, "what about me?"

"What are you working on?" she asked, hands tucked behind her back as she leaned forward to inspect the stuff on the table, while turning the motion into a good stretch for her legs and lower back.
