Character Meet and Greet~~ At Night

I. Main Street Usa!
It's twilight, edging to evening, and yet the streets are still alive with citizens and Apprentices (that means you!) alike. Take the time to admire the lights, pop in and out of the cafes or just relax in the garden.
Weapon shops and magic shops are open late into the evening this time of year, so feel free to enjoy yourself before you equip yourself for the life head.
II. Apprentice Training 101- Evening Class
Same commons behind the fire house, same weapons and wands available for practicing your skills-- though this time under the cozy street lights and the bright blues and tired purples of a fading summer twilight. Strike at the training dummy or try to catch fireflies with whispers, its all up to you.
III. Things that Go Bump
Are bumping. And they mean business. A few level 1 corroded monsters are scurrying around Main Street causing havoc and it's up to you to stop them. The question is, is it early in the evening or do you dare to face the creatures at the night's darkest hour?
IV. It's time to Sparkle!
Everyone has a spark of imagination. That is, in fact, why you're here! It's time to shine with your own scenario! Just try to keep from causing too much trouble.

Silly Rose. This must be some other world custom. Like not greeting people with giant axes to the face.

Oh Rose, you have no idea.

"And do you not think that it was rude of you to attack me at first sight?"

"Does that mean you would do the same thing to an innocent child if they had a toy sword with them?"
no subject
"Only a child with a real sword!" obviously.
no subject
"Are you always so ridiculous?"
no subject
Because he was, in fact, much worse usually.

"So what about you then? What did you used to do before here?"

"I was a Dragoon. A knight who could command dragons. But I guess I am unable to do that anymore."
With her Dragoon Spirit gone, it meant that she was no longer a Dragoon. She cannot remember what it was like to not have with her constantly and hear the faint roar of a dragon at the back of her mind. It was a very alien feeling.

Wait, did he just say...
"What do you mean 'inedible'!? Do not tell me that you eat dragons!"
That would be like eating another person!

"Anyway," he brightened up, hoping to distract the woman, "You should meet Figment. And Mal. And don't worry about things like magic being different. Because you're still you, so you can still be friends with them, right?"
Flicking his hat up slightly, he commented, "Figment's purple but his favorite color's orange, and he's super into fire. And Sylvy made him a copy of my hat because he liked it so much. And Mal's mother was a giant dragon that got shrunk because she didn't love enough or something."

She gives a bit of a sigh and mutters. "Easier said than done when you have had that power for thousands of years..." She doesn't even realize that she said it allowed.
But the bit about Figment and Mal does distract her some, and she looks back to him. "A purple fire dragon? Where I am from purple dragons are usually lighting dragons."

Ace actually has to stop and think about how to answer. Why would anyone climb a mountain instead of going around or ignoring it? Why did people seek so much to fly? Ah! She probably thought it was a waste. Sensible.
"Where I'm from, you show you're the biggest baddest monster by eating the other man-eaters."
A shrug. "But I don't eat friends."
Did that work? He wanted to know their taste. To be able to have done it. "Bananadiles are delicious, and they're kind of related. But it's not like I'll eat anything." That's a lie, he will absolutely eat anything and even poison. And wanted to eat a corrupted, but they disappear into black ghost spirit stuff.
"Michael, Crowley, and an Angel are all thousands of years old too, so you'll be in good company with that whole relearning stuff thing. Michael probably handles it best, because he already decided he didn't want to be like other demons, because they're too basic for him. The other two are stupid-er."
Ace shrugged. "No, Figment doesn't breathe fire, he likes fire. Maybe because he likes orange so much? I don't know what kind of magic he does or if he has an element like the monster class. I'll ask him or Dreamfinder sometime."
