Character Meet and Greet~~ At Night

I. Main Street Usa!
It's twilight, edging to evening, and yet the streets are still alive with citizens and Apprentices (that means you!) alike. Take the time to admire the lights, pop in and out of the cafes or just relax in the garden.
Weapon shops and magic shops are open late into the evening this time of year, so feel free to enjoy yourself before you equip yourself for the life head.
II. Apprentice Training 101- Evening Class
Same commons behind the fire house, same weapons and wands available for practicing your skills-- though this time under the cozy street lights and the bright blues and tired purples of a fading summer twilight. Strike at the training dummy or try to catch fireflies with whispers, its all up to you.
III. Things that Go Bump
Are bumping. And they mean business. A few level 1 corroded monsters are scurrying around Main Street causing havoc and it's up to you to stop them. The question is, is it early in the evening or do you dare to face the creatures at the night's darkest hour?
IV. It's time to Sparkle!
Everyone has a spark of imagination. That is, in fact, why you're here! It's time to shine with your own scenario! Just try to keep from causing too much trouble.

"Was that really necessary?" She tried to turn to look over her shoulder but that hurt so she turned completely around, placing a hand on her hip. "I was trying to make a dramatic exit. And we both know that's never going to work anyway." She gestured towards the mess.
At the question, she froze. Of course he'd ask about that. Her voice was quieter as she responded, almost hesitant. "No... Apparently their healing has a few side effects."
no subject
More dramatic music might have made the exit even more dramatic but that had never really been the goal.
"Was it a difficult regeneration?"
no subject
Her voice was tight, "You're assuming there was one."
no subject
The Doctor looked over at her and smiled, full of that youthful cheek of his.
"What did happen? I ask in the hope you would be willing to tell me if you are about to pass out or something equally unfortunate. You wouldn't be much good as a lump on the sidewalk."
no subject
But his question still stood. It was a valid question and, if she had any hope of getting this version to trust her, one she should answer honestly. She sighed, brushing some invisible strands of hair out of her face. "You could say my last regeneration and I had a... difference of opinion." Pausing, she thought for a moment, choosing her next words carefully. "He was just... more definitive in expressing his."
no subject
But he did, and he wasn't entirely able of hiding that hint of concern that slipped into his words.
"You always were your own worst enemy. I assume they fixed you up and there is just the lingering soreness to deal with?"
no subject
"Yes, precisely. It's a remarkable thing, that. Being snatched from the brink of death. And by magic, no less."
no subject
As now and then it did look to him like she might just tumble over.
no subject
Sighing, she lifted an eyebrow, "Now are you going to let me walk away dramatically? Because if you're going to keep asking me questions I'd rather sit down."
no subject
He did still have that recorder in his hands however and was in the process of placing his fingers over a few of the holes. It was probably safe.
