Character Meet and Greet~~ At Night

I. Main Street Usa!
It's twilight, edging to evening, and yet the streets are still alive with citizens and Apprentices (that means you!) alike. Take the time to admire the lights, pop in and out of the cafes or just relax in the garden.
Weapon shops and magic shops are open late into the evening this time of year, so feel free to enjoy yourself before you equip yourself for the life head.
II. Apprentice Training 101- Evening Class
Same commons behind the fire house, same weapons and wands available for practicing your skills-- though this time under the cozy street lights and the bright blues and tired purples of a fading summer twilight. Strike at the training dummy or try to catch fireflies with whispers, its all up to you.
III. Things that Go Bump
Are bumping. And they mean business. A few level 1 corroded monsters are scurrying around Main Street causing havoc and it's up to you to stop them. The question is, is it early in the evening or do you dare to face the creatures at the night's darkest hour?
IV. It's time to Sparkle!
Everyone has a spark of imagination. That is, in fact, why you're here! It's time to shine with your own scenario! Just try to keep from causing too much trouble.

She isn't even going to ask about his roommate situation.
When he bows she still keeps her guard up, but doesn't attack him. This man isn't exactly predictable. "Ace, huh? I am Rose."
no subject
He'd assumed so from the weapon, but then if she was a warrior her whole life like him, she probably just had better instincts for survival than the others.
no subject
Though she's not exactly sure if she should trust everything he says. He did attack her with an ax at first sight.

What else?
"Jobs suck, and all require wearing a shirt. Crowley sucked at horses, so he did candy, and the old guy that talks to horses took over for him instead. Lydia likes princess classes because she can use insects like a southbird so that's cool. Oh and you don't have to be royalty or a monster or fairy before, it's still part of this universe."
Ace hummed, trying to think of what exactly he'd learned so far. "Oh, and lots of people know about hell, so that's weird, but only one other person was dead like me."
no subject
She arches a brow at the mention of him being dead. At first she thought she was in a afterlife, since she arrived here just after she died, but was reassured that wasn't the case. "Make that two other people."
"And you do not like the jobs because they require you to wear clothes?"
no subject
"Yeah, and they're dumb. And I'm narcoleptic. And most of them can't handle that. But I promised Lydia I wouldn't give up complete and I'd keep my eyes open if anything fun comes up." He put the axe down and smacked a fist into his hand. "Like butcher!! Or griller!! Or setting forest fires!" What.
no subject
She arches a brow again. "Do you not mean putting out forest fires?"
no subject
Silly Rose. This must be some other world custom. Like not greeting people with giant axes to the face.

Oh Rose, you have no idea.

"And do you not think that it was rude of you to attack me at first sight?"
no subject
no subject
"Does that mean you would do the same thing to an innocent child if they had a toy sword with them?"
no subject
"Only a child with a real sword!" obviously.
no subject
"Are you always so ridiculous?"
no subject
Because he was, in fact, much worse usually.

"So what about you then? What did you used to do before here?"
no subject
"I was a Dragoon. A knight who could command dragons. But I guess I am unable to do that anymore."
With her Dragoon Spirit gone, it meant that she was no longer a Dragoon. She cannot remember what it was like to not have with her constantly and hear the faint roar of a dragon at the back of her mind. It was a very alien feeling.
