I. Main Street Usa!

It's twilight, edging to evening, and yet the streets are still alive with citizens and Apprentices (that means you!) alike. Take the time to admire the lights, pop in and out of the cafes or just relax in the garden.

Weapon shops and magic shops are open late into the evening this time of year, so feel free to enjoy yourself before you equip yourself for the life head.


II. Apprentice Training 101- Evening Class

Same commons behind the fire house, same weapons and wands available for practicing your skills-- though this time under the cozy street lights and the bright blues and tired purples of a fading summer twilight. Strike at the training dummy or try to catch fireflies with whispers, its all up to you.


III. Things that Go Bump

Are bumping. And they mean business. A few level 1 corroded monsters are scurrying around Main Street causing havoc and it's up to you to stop them. The question is, is it early in the evening or do you dare to face the creatures at the night's darkest hour?


IV. It's time to Sparkle!

Everyone has a spark of imagination. That is, in fact, why you're here! It's time to shine with your own scenario! Just try to keep from causing too much trouble.

"It is magic, as it happens. The law on which this universe functions. Magic and science and belief. Interesting mix." He lifts his own arm to hold hers against him just a little, almost on instinct.

"Ah, you're too kind." He doesn't trust it. He also doesn't want to know what is going to happen when Rose comes into the equation. "Rose is here by the way." Better to get that out of the way. "It's... complicated. Have you noticed that relationships always are? I always say, this time I will keep a proper distance and it never happens."

Him holding her arm drew a smile from her. She let herself lean against him, just a little.

"Interesting, especially coming from one once called Merlin." Her eyes twinkled. It was so long ago and so far away, but she felt closer to her memories these days. It was a small comfort.

"You're just trying to flatter me, dear. Actually, I don't know that you've ever called me too kind before." but that she was complaining. "Rose... That was the blonde one, right? So difficult to keep your little groupies straight. Though if she's the only one here that's easy enough to remember."

"Don't get used to it." Being called too kind. "Though I wouldn't mind it. Except if it's in that sarcastic or ironic way. Like a monkey paw wish. Don't be a monkey paw. And don't get that idea in your head. In fact forget I said anything."

He was babbling. Not a good sign. She would pounce on that like a cat.

"And yeah well. It was a good name at the time. And I know you know which one she is. In fact I'm pretty sure you know all of them." Which is why he knows to never fully trust her. "Haven't you ever had one? A companion? I mean, aside from Lee and...the Rana." A smirk. They must have been at one another hammer and tongs trapped together as they were. He didn't know which one he felt sorrier for.
